Story
Due to circumstances out of our control, we have to rehome our 11 month old Tamaskan Asher. Asher is a beautiful Tamaskan that loves playtime and being outside but also doesn’t mind lounging around the house at times. His new home REQUIRED him to have access to a fence that he cannot scale over or tons of exercise! He is extremely friendly, non aggressive towards other dogs, great with kids, and absolutely loves playing fetch. He loves being with other dogs and playing with new packmates. He is very tall and will jump up to give you hugs and play wrestle with you but is very gentle around children. He also loves cats! He also doesn’t bark at people walking by, other animals when approaching yard, and is very treat driven and loves to bury his bones for later. We are trying to work with him on some crate training, and he definitely has some confinement/separation anxiety in vehicle and alone but other than that he is a phenomenal pup.

Mya is doing great and officially ready to start her next chapter. Shes steadily gaining weight and just needs to be spayed and microchipped before heading to her forever home. This girl is a fun-loving, extremely social, talkative butterfly. She adores everyone she meets and loves to tell them all about it in true Husky style! She does wonderfully with other dogs and, so far, seems to be doing just fine with cats too. If youre looking for a dog with personality, love, and lots of happy conversations, Mya might be your girl. Apply to adopt and give Momma Mya the forever home she deserves! *Mya requires an owner with Husky experience with a 6-foot fenced-in yard or escape-proof means* Adoption fees are $350 unless otherwise stated. Senior dog adoption fees are $200. 100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest. Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter. Blue and his sister Sassy came from a situation where they lived outside in a fenced in yard, but didn't have a lot of socialization. Their human passed away and that is why FOCCAS took over care. The two of them started out very shy and wary of everyone. Since being at the rescue, they have learned to trust people. Blue is much more confident than Sassy, but would still need a patient person to continue to build his confidence. He looks forward to walks using a gentle leader, treats, and attention from volunteers. Blue is ready for adventure with a fun family!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
