Story
Vegas is a sweet boy! He’s s very energetic and loves to play fetch. My daughter got him as a puppy and he is three years old now. She recently became ill and had to move back in with us. She can no longer take care of Vegas and we do not have space for him as we have two dogs already. He would make a great dog for any family

Story
Meet Max, a handsome 7-year-old pup with a big heart and a love for life’s simple joys—especially squeaky toys! Max is affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when he’s near his people. He enjoys kids and has a gentle, protective streak that makes him a loyal companion. While he still loves to play and explore, Max is at a wonderful stage in life where he’s mellowed just enough to enjoy both activity and downtime. He’s crate trained, toy-motivated, and ready to keep learning with positive reinforcement and love.Max will do best with a family who can give him time, structure, and secure supervision—he’s a clever guy who has been known to sneak through an open gate or hop a low fence. If you’re looking for a devoted friend with plenty of love (and squeaks!) to share, Max is your guy.

Story
Hi! Koda is a 1-year-old male Husky. He is fully vaccinated for this year, has rabies vaccination through late next year, and is microchipped and neutered. He is very chill and doesn’t bark unless bothered. He isn’t a big fan of crates, but he will go in one if needed. He is fully house-trained and always uses the bathroom outside. Koda loves car rides and walks. He will take advantage of open spaces, so he does best in a secure area or on a leash. He does great with other dogs very playful. He does not fight with them just licks them and tries to get as close as possible. He gets very nervous around female dogs. He has not been around cats so I’m not sure what that would be like. People he does very well around will jump up on you to begin with but that’s just because he wants hugs, cuddles and kisses.

Story
Introducing Nikina! Aka Niki. Niki is a truly amazing dog. She was found wet, muddy and abandoned, but would never let that dampen her spirit! She can maintain her bubbly personality throughout anything.  Niki's perfect day would start with getting some cuddles from her people. Then she'd love to take a long walk, or maybe play in a yard with another doggy friend. After that she's fine chilling while you work. And then when you get done....more snuggles! Niki is an absolute love bug and will make the perfect companion for someone who is looking for their next furry family member.  Niki is everything you could ask for in a dog. She is great in the house, perfect in a kennel, knows basic obedience, and walks well on leash. She would do great with an active family that can take her on all sorts of adventures, but she doesn't need to be doing something all the time. She's completely fine with supporting you on those days you just need to take it easy!  Niki is up to date on all of her vaccines, takes her preventive meds like a champ and is spayed and microchipped.  Get in touch with us at arsw@arcticrescue.com to add Niki to your family today!December 5, 2025, 12:17 am
