Bishop was actually born here at our shelter in Mississippi after his mom was picked up as a stray. He was adopted out when he was a tiny pup but due to his owner financial and living situations changed, she had to surrender him back to us. This sweet guy is quite laid back and adjusts well to new things. His owner did let us know that Bishop is potty and kennel trained. He gets along well with other dogs, kids, and even cats. He would make a great addition to any family. Bishop is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and is heartworm negative. If you want to know more about him, please contact us here at the Humane Society of South Mississippi. Bishop's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. She is an incredibly easy to take care of Husky, she definitely has the Husky quirks. Will always do a little howl before you do something for her (taking her out, eating, etc.). But she's low energy when you need to do things without her bothering. She is fully trained in the basics, like potty training and a few basic tricks. I love her, but I'm relocating to Japan in mid March for work. Unfortunately, none of my family or friends will take her for the time I need to relocate her with me. I don't think I'll have the funds for it either.

Blue and his sister Sassy came from a situation where they lived outside in a fenced in yard, but didn't have a lot of socialization. Their human passed away and that is why FOCCAS took over care. The two of them started out very shy and wary of everyone. Since being at the rescue, they have learned to trust people. Blue is much more confident than Sassy, but would still need a patient person to continue to build his confidence. He looks forward to walks using a gentle leader, treats, and attention from volunteers. Blue is ready for adventure with a fun family!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering.
