Moodonna is a Shepherd/Cur mix weighing 50 to 55 pounds. She was found as a stray who had 7 puppies. Wow! A great mama dog, she would prefer to be the only animal in the family. Although considered a young girl of 4 years, Moodonna has wisdom in her eyes. Generally calm, she loves people and going for walks. Such sweetness! (Treated for Heartworm.) (posted 1/19/26, ME) ' 'Adoption Fees for Seniors and those who have been in rescue for prolonged periods of time are reduced to $250.00 including transport-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. Meet Tank – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Fresh Start Tank is a 2-year-old Husky/Pit Bull mix who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving family he deserves. Tank came to us through a seizure case in heartbreaking condition. He was severely emaciated, but thanks to the care he's received, he's slowly gaining weight and getting stronger every day. Shelter life has been stressful for him, and while the kennel can be overwhelming, there's a completely different dog waiting to shine once he's comfortable. Tank is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He previously lived with other dogs, and we feel he has the potential to do well with a canine companion. A dog meet is required to make sure everyone is a good match. We are unsure how he is with cats, so any introductions should be done with extreme caution and very slowly. Tank is nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but once he trusts you, he's an absolute love bug who just wants to be close to his people. Because of this, we'd like everyone in the household to come to the meet-and-greet so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. At only 2 years old, Tank is still very much a puppy. He'll benefit from continued training, structure, and patience as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place. He absolutely loves being outside, exploring new places, and soaking up all the sights and smells. An active family would be a wonderful fit for him, giving him healthy outlets for his energy while helping him build confidence. Tank has already overcome so much. Sadie is a 5-year-old Husky currently in foster care. She is loving, intelligent, and great with kids, but she is a very high-drive dog who needs an experienced Husky owner.She has a very high prey drive and is an escape artist. She can open doors and sliding glass doors, dig under fences, and will run through an invisible/shock fence. If she gets loose, she can become defensive when someone tries to grab her collar and has bitten in that situation.She would ideally be the only pet. She currently does okay with my 1-year-old Lab but is food aggressive. She will need professional training and someone experienced with managing high-drive dogs.A few other things to know:• Needs to go outside about every 3 hours and does not reliably signal when she needs to go.• Not crate trained and cannot be confined to a room without trying to get out.• Loves looking outside and will tear down blinds if she can’t see out.• Requires a very secure yard and careful management around doors/gates.
