Story
Hi, I’m Togo — handsome husky, certified good boy, and ex-professional car chaser (retired, thank you very much). My old family drove off without me, and I kept thinking they’d come back, but they never did… rude, right? Luckily, I’ve still got a heart full of love and plenty of tail wags left for my future family! I’m a playful guy who loves hanging with my dog buddies and soaking up attention from the awesome volunteers here. I’m neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and 100% ready to be your loyal, fluffy adventure buddy!

Story
https://foha.org/pet/ohana2023/ Hello there, My name is Ohana, and I'm a timid but loving soul searching for my forever home. Just like Nanni, I can be a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, but I've discovered something truly magical-I come alive when I'm surrounded by other dogs. You see, I've been attending dog play groups, and those furry get-togethers have been a game-changer for me. When I'm in the company of my canine companions, my confidence soars, and my true personality shines through. It's incredible how the presence of other dogs can help me open up and experience the joy of connection. I'm proud to say that I'm the proud father of two precious puppies, Janis and Jerry, who are also seeking their own loving homes. Our journey together has been a rollercoaster, and finding a family that can provide us all with the love and care we deserve would mean the world to me. In order to continue growing and thriving, I believe it would be incredibly beneficial for me to be part of a family that already has a dog. Having a furry sibling would provide me with the support and companionship I need to feel safe and secure. Together, we can navigate the world with wagging tails and an unbreakable bond. While I may start off a bit reserved, with time and patience, I promise to shower my new family with affection, loyalty, and love. I have so much potential just waiting to be discovered, and all I need is a chance to show you the incredible dog I can become. So, if you're looking for a gentle and caring companion who flourishes in the presence of other dogs, I'm your guy. Let's embark on an incredible journey together, filled with moments of growth, love, and endless wagging tails. Together, we can create a harmonious and joyful home that will make every day feel like a walk in the park. Choose me, Ohana, and let's build a bond that will last a lifetime.

Story
https://foha.org/pet/kiara2024/ Hey there, I'm Kiara, a lovely and sweet Husky Mix on a journey to find my forever home. Alongside my sister Kita, I made my way to FOHA, ready to embark on a new chapter of my life. I may be a bit shy and skittish, but I've got a heart full of love waiting to share. I'm a tad more outgoing than my sister Kita and will happily take a high-value treat, especially if it's cheese, right out of your hand. It's the little things that make me feel safe and secure. I absolutely adore running around in the play yard with the other dogs, finding joy in every moment of freedom. But what I really long for is a loving family and another dog companion who can help me build my confidence and show me the way. Together, we can conquer any challenge that comes our way. I'm a wonderful compact size, just waiting for the right family to come along. If you're patient, understanding, and willing to give me the space I need to grow into the dog I was always meant to be, then I think we could be the perfect match. Due to our high prey drive, Kita and I would do best in a home without small pets (unless they can be kept separate and out of sight). My sister, Kita, is shier than I am- and I help give her confidence. We aren't too happy when we're separated, and we really do well when we're together. We'd do best in a home together forever. We are GREAT in play group, so we'd be happy to join a home with other dogs!

https://foha.org/pet/kita/ Hello there, I'm Kita, a petite and charming Husky Mix ready to steal your heart. Alongside my sister Kiara, I made my way to FOHA, excited for the chance to find my forever family. I may be a bit shy and skittish at first, but underneath it all, I'm as sweet as can be. My compact size makes me the perfect cuddle companion for those cozy couch moments. I'm just waiting for the right family who will give me the patience, time, and space I need to come out of my shell and shine bright. I absolutely adore spending time with my doggy friends, especially my dear sister Kiara. The play yard is where you'll find me running around, enjoying the freedom and camaraderie that comes with it. Oh, and did I mention my love for special treats? Cheese, in particular, holds a special place in my heart. Due to our high prey drive, Kiara and I would do best in a home without small pets (unless they can be kept separate and out of sight). My sister, Kiara ,is brave and helps me with my confidence. We aren't too happy when we're separated, and we really do well when we're together. We'd do best in a home together forever. We are GREAT in play group, so we'd be happy to join a home with other dogs!

Story
https://foha.org/pet/lennox2024/ Hi there! I’m Lennox! 🐾 I’m a gorgeous husky who absolutely loves winter—it's the best season of the year! I’m here to help you rediscover the magic of chilly days and snowy adventures. Whether it’s a brisk walk in the crisp air or a playful romp in the snow, I’ll be your ultimate motivator to get outside and embrace the season. I’ve been at FOHA since October, but I got to spend some time in a foster home, and my foster mom says I’m housebroken, treat-motivated, and eager to learn new things. I’d call that a pretty glowing review, don’t you think? I enjoy playing with other dogs, but not every pup appreciates my playful antics, so my friends at FOHA will help make sure I’m a good match for any potential fur siblings. This winter, I’d love to bring you the warmth of a loyal, furry friend. Are you ready to let me brighten your life? Let’s make some memories together! 🐕❄️

Story
https://foha.org/pet/janis2023/ Meet Janis J, a shy and beautiful husky mix who is looking for a loving and patient home. This sweet dog has had limited exposure to humans in her early life and needs someone who can help her overcome her fears and gain confidence. Janis J is a stunning dog with beautiful brown eyes and a soft, fluffy coat. She is very shy and nervous around people, but she is slowly getting to know her voice and is learning to trust the people around her. Due to her fear of humans, Janis J needs to be placed in a home with no children and a confident dog who can help her feel more comfortable and show her the way. While she is still too shy to start obedience training, Janis J is doing great with her potty training and is making progress every day. She needs someone who is patient and understanding and who can help her build a sense of trust and security. Janis J is a sweet and loving dog who is just waiting for the right person to come along and show her the love and attention she deserves. She needs someone who is willing to take the time to build a relationship with her and who understands that she may need time to adjust to her new surroundings. If you are looking for a special dog who needs a little extra love and attention, Janis J could be the perfect match for you. She is a gentle and loving dog who is just waiting for the right person to come along and show her that the world can be a kind and loving place. With patience, love, and a confident dog friend, Janis J has the potential to become a happy and well-adjusted companion who will bring joy and happiness to your life.
