Story
Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2403935##

Story
Sitka is a 3-year-old male Siberian Husky who came to us as a stray, so we're still getting to know this handsome boy. One thing is already clear—he has plenty of Husky energy! Sitka is full of zoomies, leaps, and joyful jumps, and he's always ready for his next adventure. He's looking for an active home that can keep both his body and mind engaged with regular exercise, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to explore. As we're still learning about him, Sitka has not yet been tested with other dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions to any resident pets are recommended. Sitka is eager to learn and would thrive with a family committed to positive training and consistency. With time, patience, and guidance, he has the potential to become an incredible companion. Like many Huskies, he'll do best with someone who understands the breed's energy, intelligence, and need for daily activity.

Story
Food: Pedigree Adult AM: 4 cups Meet Rocky — a 3-year-old Husky/Shar-Pei mix with a playful spirit and a loyal heart. He loves chasing a ball, going on long walks, and spending time with his people. Rocky can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he’s affectionate and devoted — especially with women, whom he tends to bond with quickly. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Rocky does have some resource-guarding tendencies around bones, so he’ll do best with an experienced owner who can continue working on positive training and management. With patience, structure, and plenty of playtime, Rocky makes a wonderful companion.

Story
Food: Pedigree Adult AM: 3 cups I'm Tommy, a 10-year-old sable and silver Alaskan Husky with plenty of life left in me! 🐕 I'm housetrained and crate trained, which makes settling into a new home so much easier, and I'm great with kids — they bring out my playful, friendly side. I'm smart and energetic, though I do need a little patience when I'm adjusting to new situations, as I can be a bit fearful at first. Once I'm comfortable, you'll see my true personality shine through! My adoption fee is just $75, so come meet me and let's start our adventure together. ❤️ I would do best as the only dog.

Story
We are looking for a loving forever home for Bear, our 7-year-old Malamute mix. Bear is an incredibly sweet dog who thrives on attention and is wonderful with children. She is very independent and calm, she loves to go for walks and sniff the neighborhood. While Bear gets along well with other dogs, she is happiest when she has her own personal space. For this reason, we believe she would do best in a home where she can be the only dog. Bear is in good overall health—she had a clean bill of health at her vet appointment this past May—though she is currently on a weight-loss journey to get back to a healthy size. Due to unexpected life changes, we are sadly unable to keep her and want to ensure she finds a family that can give her the time and affection she deserves.
