Story
Meet Tatu! 🐾 Tatu is an 8-year-old Husky mix who is new here, so we’re still getting to know him. He has been known to do well with men, women, children, dogs, and cats, though we can’t guarantee how he’ll do in every home. Tatu would do best in a quiet home with a family committed to helping him lose some weight and live his healthiest, happiest life. ❤️

Story
Meet Rocky — a 3-year-old Husky/Shar-Pei mix with a playful spirit and a loyal heart. He loves chasing a ball, going on long walks, and spending time with his people. Rocky can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he’s affectionate and devoted — especially with women, whom he tends to bond with quickly. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Rocky does have some resource-guarding tendencies around bones, so he’ll do best with an experienced owner who can continue working on positive training and management. With patience, structure, and plenty of playtime, Rocky makes a wonderful companion.

Story
Meet Thor! This handsome and sturdy dude came to us as an owner surrender, when his previous family could no longer care for him. He is a Siberian husky bully mix weighing roughly 65lbs and now that he's finished with his dirty bulk, it's time to cut down to about 45lbs . He has an estimated birthdate of 03/21/2019.  Thor is a humorous dog who likes to snuggle, get hugged, and lay on his back with his short legs sticking in the air, which is a meditation technique we are lovingly referring to as "loafing". Thor is a bit of a professional loafer but does also enjoy a quick sprint in the yard, and a lazy hike or suburban jaunt whenever you want to take him. He is crate and leash trained. He may mark with pee once or twice when settling into a new home, but that was a short lived idea in his foster home. Just keep an eye on him and tell him what for if he thinks of lifting his dorky little leg.  Thor needs slow intros to male dogs but has been good with all female dogs. Based on what we've seen of him, we suspect he would do fine with any female dogs, and submissive or dismissive male dogs who don't care about his unimpressive shows of bravado. EHe is also great with children and adults. He is not suitable in a home with cats.  Thor's adoption fee is $200, and he comes home neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microhipped. His adoption includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help both parties ace the new partnership. To begin the adopiton process, please submit an application at www.murcismisson.org. Thank you!  ##2828501##

Story
This is Chaos, he's a fun loving big boy, he loves stuffy toys, soft beds, and cuddles. He's truly an amazing dog, he's high energy and LOVES food and treats. I don't think he realizes how big he is, he definitely trips over his own paws. When he's passionate about something he's very vocal about it, he has the best husky woos ever. He's a big boy with an even bigger heart just looking for a perfect forever home.

Story
This is probably one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to write. After 7 beautiful years together, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find a new home for our family dog. This is not a decision we’re making because we don’t love her — honestly, that’s what makes this so incredibly painful. She has been such a huge part of our family and has given us 7 years of love, memories, cuddles, and companionship. She has been there through so many chapters of our lives, and saying goodbye feels like saying goodbye to a piece of our family. But with our new baby, everything has changed. Our time, attention, energy, and ability to give her the life and attention she deserves are no longer what they used to be. And as much as it breaks our hearts, we have to put his happiness and quality of life first. We want to find her a home where she can be loved, spoiled, and given the attention she deserves. A home where she can truly be someone’s baby again. Please reach out if you know anyone.
