Story
Blitz is a 6-year-old Husky mix, who was adopted in December from Rock County Humane Society. Blitz didn't do well in his previous home due to anxiety with other dogs in the home, and a poor dynamic with the family. Blitz is kennel trained but needs some positive training with housebreaking. He seems to enjoy children who come here to the shelter. Due to Blitz not having great adoption experience prior to coming here we would recommend a quieter household, with older children, and a family to give him lots of love and patience. Blitz has been with us for 16 weeks now and is a loveable boy with all the staff! He loves his outside time and being brushed. He will hop into his kiddie pool on the few hot days we have had so far to play in the water!“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).”

Story
Yuki is a 2-year-old Siberian Husky who was transferred to us from another shelter when her owners could not afford her care. Yuki has been with children and other dogs, however, she spent a few months in a home where she did not get along with any other dogs, in the home, or strange dogs outside the home. Due to this we believe it would be best for Yuki to be an only pet in the home. Yuki is house and crate trained. She is very smart and knows sit, down, come and shake. She is ready to learn more! Yuki will need an active home with lots of outdoor time. She loves to play fetch and go for rides in the car.

Story
Prince and Zainy are bonded "brothers". They adore each other and snuggle up to sleep. Prince is 2 months younger than Zainy and is a great mix of Husky and German Shepherd, while Zainy is a purebred Husky. These two are very energetic and love to play! Both boys are gentle with humans and listen well. They enjoy going for car rides and going for walks. Prince and Zainy lived in a home with young children. Prince and Zainy are both crate and house-trained.Both of these boys have higher prey drives, so a home with small animals is needed. They do get along with other dogs with slow meet and greets.Being these two love to run, and are great escape artists, they do need a secure tie-out or a high fence to keep them safe and at home. Zainy and Price love the pool and jump right in to cool off on these hot days. They have basic manners such as sit, down, stay and shake, and you can see they would love to learn more! The boys would love a home together, but it is not a requirement.

Story
This is Gomez. He is a good boy. When I moved I lost the support system that I had in place and I live by myself and work full time. He does well with my female dog who is a bit bigger then him but doesn't get along with my smaller dog. He does have a high prey drive and needs someone who can meet his needs for the amout of energy he has.
