Story
This is Phoenix. Her story; She was found Abandoned in Texas tied to a Light post. The person who found her was a friend of ours, he got her vaccination for rabies & then came asking friends if anyone could take her in. My fiance told him he would if someone would be able to bring her up to Wi, & he did just that. She was about 1 at that time & now shes around 3 or very close to, we found out she had food aggression because she attacked me over the cat food bowl. She left me with needing to go to the hospital & I got 11 stitches from the encounter. Ive been trying for 2 years now to rehome her. Recommended: no kids or small animals around her because she antagonizes and terrorizes small animals or tries to eat them, & the concern for kids, if they were to feed her or get near her food, She will bite. She needs a person willing to work with her. She needs lots of exercise, & a paitent person that has trained dogs before or has enough money to get her trained by a professional.

Story
Serenity, also known as CiciHuskyFemale5 years oldGood with dogs and very shy of peopleCici was a surrender from an Amish farmer that the state closed down due to neglect and bad conditions. She was used for breed purposes only. We believe she had at least 8 litters. Cici needs a home with another playful pup, and a fenced-in yard is a must.Cici has a heart condition, and because of that, she can not be spayed. There is a surgery to correct it, but their is a high chance she may not make it through the procedure. We have decided to let her live out her days, and we want her to have the very best. Cici is very sweet but is shy of people petting her. This girl has not 1 mean bone in her body. She is a dog that loves to lay in front of a door and soak up the warm sun. She is currently being fostered with lots of other dogs and small kids.apply at wbdr.org
