Story
🐾 Meet OrionOrion is a handsome husky/malamute-type adult male who’s just beginning his next chapter. He previously lived outdoors and is now settling in while we get to know him better. Like many northern breeds, he’s expressive and not afraid to use his voice — though we’re still figuring out just how much commentary he plans to provide. 🎶🐺We’re learning more about Orion every day as he adjusts. So far, he’s shown us that he’s full of classic northern-dog personality and presence. As we discover more about what makes him tick, we’ll continue sharing updates. If you appreciate a dog with spirit, character, and a little bit of dramatic flair, Orion might be your kind of companion. 💙 If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt

🐾 Meet AriesAries is a striking husky/malamute-type adult male with a big voice and an even bigger presence. He previously lived outdoors and is now getting a chance to experience a new chapter. Like many northern breeds, Aries isn’t shy about expressing himself — yes, he sings (and sometimes screams) to make sure you hear him. 🎶🐺We’re still getting to know Aries and learning all about his personality as he settles in. So far, he’s shown us that he’s spirited, expressive, and very much a classic northern dog. As we discover more about what makes him tick, we’ll be sharing updates. If you appreciate a bold personality, a little drama, and the unmistakable charm of a husky-type companion, Aries might just be your kind of dog. 💙 If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt

Story
Izzy AKA: “Good luck spotting me in a snowstorm!” Vibe Check: Doggie Beauty Pageant Queen… but make it gentle, soulful, and soft as a cloud. Fun Fact: When Izzy plays in the snow, it becomes a live-action game of Where’s Waldo? (Spoiler: I'm fluffier than Waldo.) Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Golden Oldie — think Sophia from Golden Girls energy. Senior status, much younger than senior attitude. Weight: 57 lbs of pure, imperial elegance. Health Notes (HIPAA who?): Izzy is in remarkable shape for her age! • Mild arthritis (ARF-ritis!) — managed with Galliprant (about $1 a day) • Grade 3 heart murmur — no meds needed • Deaf… or selectively ignoring you. Jury’s out. Current Residence: De Pere, WI — patiently waiting for a Green Bay Packer to adopt her because can you even imagine her in a Jordan Love jersey and a yellow-and-green tutu?! Iconic. Activity Level: Low-key queen. Walks are her jam. Marathons? Hard pass. Social Skills: Dogs? Yes please. Cats? Let’s cuddle. Kids? If you have hands and give pets, you are approved. Sleep Style: Dog bed or soft blanket near your bed. Close enough to feel safe. Not so close that she’s stealing your pillow. (She has boundaries. Regal ones.) Dining Preferences: High-quality kibble and alllll the snackies. She eats politely, stops when she’s full, doesn’t guard her bowl, and doesn’t counter surf. A literal lady. Bark-O-Meter: 1/10. A queen does not shout. She announces potty needs. Shedding Meter: 5/10. Currently blowing her winter coat and briefly turned her foster home into an indoor snow globe. But regular brushing = very manageable fluff. (Just had an undercoat blow out. Trust me, it helps) Fashion Sense: Emerald green sequined gown + tiara. Unless she’s adopted by the Packers. Then it’s jersey + tutu season. Signature Color: Emerald green Walk-Out Song: “I’m Winning” by Santana (that message... and those guitar riffs!) Signature Move: Walk the catwalk… STOP… model pose. Love Language: Napping near you so you are the first thing she sees when she opens her beautiful eyes. The Part That Matters Most: Izzy has been deeply loved — twice — by people who had to say goodbye only because their bodies couldn’t keep up anymore. She isn’t looking for excitement. She isn’t looking for chaos. She’s looking for one more person to walk gently into the future with. If you want elegance, sweetness, and a little snow camouflage magic in your life… Izzy is ready. Spayed Microchipped Potty trained and will talk to tell when it is time Good on a leash Neither needs nor likes being in a crate Enjoys car rides UTD on vaccinations UTD on preventatives Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $350, ($600 for a pair). Learn more about Albert's Dog Lounge, our mission, and adoption policies by visiting Albertsdoglounge.org. Begin your application process by copying this link into your web browser: https://www.albertsdoglounge.org/apply WI Dept. Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS NOTE ABOUT AGING A DOG: Aging a dog, based on looking at them, is unreliable and usually inaccurate. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality and their needs. Puppy - Under 6 months Young Adult - 6 months to 2 years Adult - 2 years to 8 years Senior - 8 years to 12 years Golden Oldie - 12+ years

Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Chad Needs a Foster or Adopter by 3/21/26 to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Chad is currently in a kill shelter in Georgia and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure his spot on the 3/21/26 transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we’re hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Chad Chad is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky who is ready for a fresh start. He came into the shelter as a stray and, sadly, no one came to reclaim him. Now he’s hoping someone will give him the second chance he deserves. Chad is a silly, goofy boy with a sweet and affectionate personality. He absolutely loves belly rubs and hugs and can be just a bit of a velcro dog — happiest when he’s close to his people. He’s very treat motivated, which makes him eager to learn and fun to work with. In new situations, Chad can be a little unsure and may do an adorable belly crawl while he builds confidence. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines. He enjoys playing with other dogs and tends to be more submissive during play, especially with his friend Karen. He would likely do well with another friendly dog. Cats and kids are currently unknown. Chad weighs 45 lbs, is heartworm negative, and is not yet neutered. He has decent leash manners and, like any young husky, will benefit from continued structure, exercise, and positive reinforcement training. Age: 1 year Gender: Male (not yet neutered) Weight: 45 lbs Breed: Siberian Husky Spayed/Neutered: No Potty Trained: Unsure Crate Trained: Unsure Leash Manners: Good Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Unsure Chad is available for the 3/21/26 transport and is ready to keep moving forward. He would love a foster or adoptive home to help make that happen. If you’re able to foster or adopt, please apply today. www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
