Meet Odin! This pint-sized Jack Russell Terrier has a heart as big as his ears. Odin is about 1 year old and came to us from Sonoma County Animal Services. He was previously adopted and returned, so he’ll do best in a home that’s ready to support him through an adjustment period and continued training. Odin can be a little shy at first, but with patience and love, his confidence will bloom. He’d enjoy having a doggy buddy to show him the ropes—or even a feline friend to share cozy naps with! Story
Adopted Kona Sep 2, 2018 from San Francisco SPCA. He was born May 2, 2018 and described as a part golden / lab retriever. We're recognized that Kona may have some Jack Russell traits as he has high energy, a tendency to dig, barks to alert us or when he hears sounds, stubborn, loyalty to family, and often displaying a "big dog in a small body". He's skittish, he doesn't like quick reaches to pet him. Kona would do well if he's the only pet in the home. He's loves to be petted. He can sleep inside or outside of a kennel on his pillow or where ever he's comfortable. He eats in the morning and evening and gets treats when training or obeys a command. My husband walks him once in the morning. He stays in our backyard and often runs and hops about like a bunny. Kona is comfortable in our home and choses places to lay down such as a dog pillow, near the fireplace (he likes warmth) and during the summer he likes sun bathing.

Hes the perfect companion for an active family or individual who can give him the playtime and exercise he thrives on. He loves running, fetching, and learning new tricks – his smart mind picks things up quickly! Unfortunately, due to changes in our schedule (growing family), we no longer have enough time to play with him and give him the attention he deserves. It breaks our hearts, but are looking for a loving new home where he can get the active lifestyle he needs. Hes healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations (buyer to verify/transfer records), and ready to bring endless fun to the right person!
