Story
Nigel Needs a Committed, Experienced Home for Foster 2 Adopt.  *Special Needs** Nigel is a 7yo, 10lb terrier mix with an enormous heart packed into a tiny body. He is affectionate, playful, and absolutely devoted to his people. He loves walks, enjoys companionship, and would do beautifully in a home with children and/or another small dog.                                                                                                                                                             Nigel developed a seizure disorder a few years ago and requires medication three times a day. His condition is manageable, and aside from this, he is in excellent health. What he needs most is consistency — an experienced, attentive owner who can reliably maintain his medication schedule and provide a calm, stable environment.                                                                                                                                                                                                          He is currently in a home with another dog, two cats, two adults, and an infant. His family loves him deeply, but with such a full household and busy schedule, they are struggling to give him the focused care his medical needs require. This is a heartbreaking decision made purely out of love and concern for Nigel’s well-being.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        We are urgently seeking a committed adopter who understands seizure management and can offer Nigel the stability and dedicated care he deserves. He is ready to bond deeply with someone who will show him the same devotion he so freely gives.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    If you have experience with medical dogs and are looking for a loyal, loving companion, Nigel is waiting for you.                  For more info call Kim at 707-230-0132 Adoption fees include: For puppies:  First year's vaccines, including Bordetella, microchip, and deworming.                                                                                                                                    Adult dog:     Vaccinations are current, microchip, dewormed and spay/neuter.                            If you have current pets, we offer a Foster to Adopt Program, in which you have a two week trial period to make sure the animals get along, it's a good fit, and your begining to bond.                         Countryside Animal Rescue is open Tuesday - Friday 11am to 3pm by appointment only.Appointments can be made by calling 707-542-5582 or emailing countrysiderescuesr@gmail.com.  Please ensure that you receive a confirmation of your appointment before arriving to ensure we are properly staffed for your visit.Drop-In (Without an appointment) Satruday from 11am to 3pm.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.                                                                                                                                                Please complete our online applicationat  : https://forms.gle/PGmGoo2ZoBEtU4D18   ##2687652##

Story
Claire is a sweet Heeler-terrier mix, with a heart full of love. She is shy around new people and dogs, but once she feels safe, she opens up beautifully and blossoms into a loyal, affectionate companion.  Claire is a smart girl who already walks well on leash and is food motivated, ready to learn lots more! She's excitable and is learning to settle nicely in her wonderful foster home for plenty of cuddles. She does extremely well with mental stimulation, routine and regular activity. Her new home should be patient and ready to continue her training. With time, she will be a wonderful companion in an adult-only home to go on hikes, play fetch, and play with other dogs! Claire is full of beans and ready for a forever home that will include her in all their activities and adventures. If that sounds like you, apply today to meet her!

Story
Meet Rory & Roisin — Rory and Roisin are sweet sibling pups whose journey hasn’t started the way they deserved. Found abandoned in a rural area around St. Patrick’s Day, these two were thankfully taken in by Milo Sanctuary and given their fitting “luck of the Irish” names. Now safe and cared for, they’re ready for the next chapter of their lives — one filled with love, patience, and a place to call home. At first, Rory and Roisin can be a bit shy as they take in the world around them. But it doesn’t take long to see their true selves shine through. Beneath that initial hesitation are two incredibly gentle, loving souls who want to connect — you can see it in the way they lean in, the way they watch you, and the way they slowly start to trust. Both pups are mellow, easygoing, and not high-energy, making them wonderful companions for a calm and nurturing home. As they grow more comfortable, their sweet personalities really blossom, and they warm up quickly to kind, patient people. Rory and Roisin would thrive in a forever home together, where they can continue to build confidence side by side. They would also do great separated... or they would do beautifully in a dedicated foster home willing to give them a little extra love and encouragement as they come out of their shells. These two are truly special — soft-hearted, loving, and ready to give their trust to someone who will cherish them. Please call 707-459-4900 for more information or to set up an appointment for a meet and greet.

Story
Tommy is such a cute, yet naughty boy. He is dog friendly and playful. This little boy is adorable and he is a project dog, not one for a busy household as he takes time to trust new people. Once he knows you he is a lover boy - but he is selective and it can take time. Tommy can be wary of strangers and does have some ankle biting in his past....Tommy is better suited for country living away from the random public and well meaning admirers. For more information on Tommy please call 707-459-4900.
