Story
Bacca is GBP’s very own “Neville.” And if you get the reference… you already know we’re dealing with a tiny emotional support menace. Mr. Bacca was returned because he had fully appointed himself Supreme Ruler of the Household. Couldn’t sit on the couch if he was there. Couldn’t go in certain rooms if he decided they were his. Sometimes he didn’t want walks. Sometimes he didn’t want visitors. Sometimes he simply woke up and chose tyranny. In his tiny little 8-pound Chihuahua brain, everyone was supposed to adjust accordingly. Thankfully, Bacca is now with Barbara from our foster team and learning: crate training boundaries manners and that just because you wake up cranky doesn’t mean the whole family has to suffer-- And honestly? He’s doing REALLY well!!!  Underneath the dramatic tiny dictator energy is a dog who genuinely wants love, structure, and to feel part of a family. He’s trying hard, and we’re really proud of him. Bacca needs an experienced Chihuahua home that understands these spicy little personalities and can continue helping him succeed. BONUS: A generous donor is covering his adoption fee so his future family can use that towards training and continued support. Ps- he really takes a liking to larger breed dogs   very dog friendly with proper introductions! a more quiet home is best- typical chi naughtiness at times super duper cute small breed pup fostered with other dogscrate trainedNeutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. *Small breed terrier or Chi experience please __________________Fostered locally in Hopkinton MA- apply today ‍ please remember we are all volunteers, incomplete applications will not be processed If you are interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application and we will reach out to you within 48 hours to start the approval process.  https://galsbestpal.com/adoption/ It’s ok if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, we are experts in matchmaking and can talk with you and figure out what  PAL would be a good fit for your home!  If you would like to inquire about saving a life & becoming a FOSTER HERO, please fill out an application and a FOSTER HEROES TEAM volunteer will reach out to you to go over our supportive foster based rescue program! https://galsbestpal.com/foster/ To learn more about our mission, and to join our mailing list go to https://galsbestpal.com/ Follow us on FB and Instagram for extra photos, updates & videos of our available dogs. Dodger is ready to find his happily ever after Dodger is proof that every dog deserves a second chance. This handsome little guy came from a home with multiple dogs where they simply were not getting the care they deserved. Those days are behind him now, and he is thriving in his foster home alongside other dogs. Dodger can be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little patience and you'll get to watch something truly special happen. Day by day, his confidence grows, his personality shines a little brighter, and he starts to realize that people can be kind and life can be good. Story
Meet Henry! Henry is somewhere between 2 and 5 years old, 32 lbs currently and he is a smaller mixed breed pup. Henry was a stray who was found with an old eye injury and was heartworm positive. He has since had an enucleation and completed heartworm treatment so is now ready for his forever home! In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could join households with dog-savvy kids 10+ and other dogs. His foster says, `Henry is one of the happiest dogs if not the happiest I have ever met! That tail is always wagging and he is always so happy to see you. Henry loves to play with other dogs and if they don`t want to play, he makes up his owngames and plays by himself. But he usually has a pup or two to play with. He is in his glory outside but he can also chill out with the best of them. You would never know this guy has lost an eye or had a rough start to life. He is very sweet and we are going to miss him terribly. He is very treat motivated. He will make a wonderful family pet or adventure buddy.`He is available for adoption by appointment in Hopkinton or Milford, MA Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Holly is 12 years old. We have had her for almost 9 years. We got her from Athens Rescue in Georgia. She is very sweet, and will be happy sitting on the couch snuggled up with you. She can have bursts of energy, but is much more chill in her older age. An ideal home would be one that doesn’t have kids, and enjoys spending their time sitting on the couch with their dog. We have reached the difficult decision to find a new home for her because she is in need of a quiet home in her old age. With three young children and one more on the way, we can no longer provide that for her. Holly has tolerated our children, however over the last 4 years she has become possessive over the house against the children. In the last 6 months she nipped two of our children. Thankfully, no medical attention was needed. We want to find her a better home that she can have peace and quiet in her senior years.
