Rosie (DOB 11/01/2025) is a gentle, calm, and slightly shy Jack-a-poo (Toy Poodle and Jack Russell). She is very quiet, rarely barks, and loves to cuddle and stay close to her people. Rosie is fully crate trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate all night. She gets along well with other dogs. She has a beautiful black coat with chestnut tones (likely becoming lighter over time), a lovely white marking from her chin to chest, and long, elegant Poodle-like legs. We are looking to rehome Rosie to a loving, committed home due to a move to pet-restricted housing. Jack-a-Poos are a relatively rare designer mix, loved for combining the intelligence and low-shedding coat of a Toy Poodle with the loyalty and charm of a Jack Russell. My name is Theo, I’m a happy guy who lives for the simple things. If you have a fluffy toy, I will gladly show you my "surgical skills" by pulling all the stuffing out for you! I also think snowstorms are the best thing ever—there’s nothing like doing zoomies in a fresh drift. If it’s not snowing weather, you can usually find me swimming; I’m a total water dog at heart. And when the day is done? I am a professional-level snuggler. Recently, my Mommy had a human baby. I love my family so much, but having a tiny human around makes me anxious. I get way too excited, and because I’m a bouncy guy, I can be a little too rough without meaning to be. Treasure is one of three tiny sisters and the largest and most confident puppy of the litter. She’s curious, bold, and always eager to explore her surroundings. Treasure is especially intrigued by cats and would very much like to go “talk” to them. She’s an adventurer who will happily investigate new patches of grass or approach new dogs long before her sisters feel ready. Because she’s a bit of a daredevil, Treasure will do best in a home where she has appropriate supervision and guidance as she grows. She’s currently learning potty training basics and is crate-trained, making great progress for her age. Rescue story: Treasure and her sisters, Charm and Trinket, were surrendered by their family. While the family agreed to have their mama dog spayed, they declined to surrender her. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
