This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2801245##

Story
Sashimi is a gentle, affectionate puppy with a quiet nature that makes her impossible not to adore. Raised in foster care alongside her mom, Miss Miso, and her siblings since she was just two days old, she has grown up surrounded by love and security. Foster describes her as timid, quiet, and sweet, noting that while she may be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, she quickly blossoms into a loving companion once she feels safe. She enjoys cuddling, gentle play, soft blankets, and spending time with her family. Calm in the car, quiet around the house, and free of fears or sensitivities, Sashimi has a wonderfully gentle disposition that makes her a joy to be around. As a 10-week-old puppy, Sashimi is still learning all the basics and is looking for a family excited to help her continue building confidence. She is working on house-training, learning her commands, and gaining experience walking on a leash. Foster describes her play style as soft and bouncy, enjoying chase games, toys, independent play, and polite interactions with other dogs, making her a great companion for canine friends of all ages. She has shown no aggression, resource guarding, handling concerns, or bite history and would thrive in a variety of homes, including those with children, first-time dog owners, or other dogs. With her sweet temperament, affectionate heart, and gentle spirit, Sashimi is a wonderful puppy who is ready to grow into a loyal and loving lifelong companion. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. Story
Meet Nigiri, a sweet, curious, and velcro-level affectionate 10-week-old pup from the Sushi Roll litter! Raised with love in foster care alongside her mom Miso and her siblings, this fearless little girl has a playful, rambunctious personality and a big voice to match. Nigiri brings moderate energy—she loves chasing toys, playing with other dogs, and enjoying mealtime (she is very food-motivated!), but she settles down quickly and is just as happy being a calm, cozy companion indoors.   Nigiri is a wonderful, adaptable pup who could fit into almost any home. She is fantastic in the car, well-behaved inside, and hasn't shown any fears or sensitivities. She is currently working on her house-training and leash practice, but she's already doing great with potty pads and learns fast. Once she burns off her puppy energy playing or self-entertaining with her toys, she loves nothing more than curling up right next to her favorite humans for endless cuddles.
