Because of her anxiety, she should not be crated — it’s traumatic for her — but she’s perfectly content staying in a quiet room behind a baby gate when her foster mom leaves. She’s not a lap dog; she’s independent, choosing her own cozy spots, but she shows affection in sweet ways, like running in to say “good morning” or checking in throughout the day. Lainey is just learning how fun toys can be and has some playful energy, especially with dogs she knows. She can be an only dog or live with doggie siblings, but she has a more dominant personality and doesn’t enjoy being pestered by other dogs.
