Story
Tobias a.k.a TobyMale Jack Russell/Boston Terrier MixDOB: 11/20/2025Adoption Fee: $300Tobias was found on the side of the road, with obvious signs of an injury. Luckily, we were able to take him in and get him started on the care he needed. He is extra lucky, because he got to go to an amazing foster that night, where he got a severely needed bath, lots of good food, and all the affection a puppy could ask for. "Toby" is already showing us that he can be a trooper, and with all the much needed love of his fosters, he will have all the motivation he needs to recover. Right now he has trouble putting weight on his leg, but we know he will be running around playing soon. While he isn't quite ready to go to his forever home, we would love to have one lined up for him ahead of time. All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. Cats are tested for FIV/FELK. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms and started on HW prevention. Our adoptions include a 30 Day Free Trial period with Trupanion Pet InsuranceWE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday-Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times. We suggest calling prior to visiting our adoption center to ensure the animal you wish to meet is here at our Center (some are in foster care) and still available. If you want to meet an animal that is being fostered an approved application & appointment is required. We will call or email you the status of your application once it is processed. Nothing will be processed on Sundays or Mondays. All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Sometimes things change and an adoption may fall through so we maintain a wait list.APPLY HERE: https://form.jotform.com/202887123155152

Story
If we had to pick just one word to describe Rosie, it would probably be ‘easygoing.’ But why stop at just one word? Rosie’s also affectionate, cuddly, playful, good on leash, loves to ride in the car, and gets along well with other dogs. She could fit into almost any family and living situation. As long as she’s with you, she’s happy. In short, she’s the total package. Just 7 years old, Rosie is well past puppy antics but still has the energy to be a good walking companion or child’s playmate. She’s up to date on all her vaccines and got a clean bill of health from the vet. Her adoption fee is just $300. If you’re looking to share the holidays with a new family member, Rosie may be the one! Story
💛🐶 Meet Tucker — a 5–6-year-old, 15-lb little scruffy survivor with the sweetest soul. Tucker spent nearly two weeks running through a freezing ice storm before a trapper was finally able to bring him to safety and into a warm, loving foster home. We believe he lived much of his life as a backyard dog, and the comforts of indoor life are still wonderfully new to him. At first, Tucker didn’t quite understand why humans wanted to dote on him—but now he’s starting to seek out that affection. Being picked up is still a learning experience (his legs go a bit stiff at first), but within a minute he relaxes and settles in. New situations can make him quiet and unsure, yet with gentle encouragement, his bravery shines through more each day. Tucker is curious, sweet, and endearingly awkward in the best way. He enjoys his walks, likes meeting other dogs, and gains confidence with every outing. He has the cutest little underbite, with two tiny bottom teeth that sometimes peek out, and beautiful eyes—each a different color. One eye may have been injured long ago and never treated, but he can still see from it and gets around just fine. This darling, easy-going boy would love a quieter home where his gentle nature is appreciated. Another small dog to keep him company would be wonderful but isn’t required. Tucker is looking for patient, kind people who will embrace his little quirks, continue his confidence-building walks, and show him how good life can be. Tucker's breeds are unknown, so our best guess is maybe a Jack Russel, with some Dachshund and a sprinkle of Chihuahua. Super Mutt!! Tucker is ready for his new beginning—and he’ll reward you with a soft heart, steady progress, and a whole lot of quiet love. 💙

Story
Meet Jelly 🍓Jelly is the kind of dog who makes everyone smile—probably because she’s always smiling herself! This sweet, snuggly girl came to us after her elderly owner could no longer care for her, and now she’s looking for a new lap (or couch!) to call home.Jelly is good with other dogs, but truth be told, her heart belongs to humans. If you’re someone who enjoys long cuddle sessions, handing out treats, and being gazed at lovingly by a dog with a goofy, submissive grin—Jelly is your girl. She’s a bit on the fluffy side, thanks to her expert-level begging skills (and that smile is definitely part of her strategy!). But with a bit of gentle exercise and some portion control, she’s well on her way to a healthier lifestyle—especially if you make it fun and full of affection.Jelly is a joyful, easygoing companion who doesn’t need much—just your love, your snacks, and a cozy place to snooze. Come meet this grinning sweetheart and prepare to fall in love.Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Story
Recently seperated, I work long hours and have nobody at home to walk him in the evening. He is a very clever dog who keeps himself entertained, which is why I have to kenal him at night while I was at work. He is 14ish years old. I got him as a pup, he has been with me for all this time. I do not want to put him in the pound, he belongs in a good home. He is great with kids, very patient with little ones who pull his ears like my youngest daughter does. Gunther is a pup at heart, and still plays, runs, I hate having to give him up.

Story
Meet Tyson 💛 — a sweet senior Jack Russell mix looking for a soft place to land. Tyson is a 10-year-old Jack Russell mix with a whole lot of heart…and no teeth, which means you’ll often catch a little tongue peeking out in the most endearing way. It’s part of his charm. He can be a bit reserved at first and likes to take a moment to warm up, but once he does, Tyson becomes your loyal little shadow, quietly following you from room to room. He’s a low-energy couch potato who’s happiest curled up beside you, making him the perfect companion for relaxed days and cozy nights. Tyson is very food motivated (soft treats are his love language) and does an adorable tippy-tappy paw dance when he’s excited or waiting for a snack. It’s impossible not to smile watching him. Sadly, Tyson’s original dog mom passed away over the holidays, and he’s been a bit confused by all the changes. What he’s really looking for now is someone kind and patient to ride out his golden years with—a calm home, steady love, and a comfy couch to call his own. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate senior who will repay your love with quiet companionship and endless gratitude, Tyson just might be your guy. 🐾💙 --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
