When you love the Jack Russell breed of dog then you try to find that pure love to adopt. Well Clyde is a very sweet dog but yet he is the shy type that will be oh so loving of a boy that will make you feel like you the most special person in the world. He is just a year old and 17 pounds and he loves to play with toys that squeak and crunch. He is an active Jack Russell breed that needs a fenced in yard so he can run around and play with others safely. When it comes to cuddles….we all love that with our dogs, Clyde gives you the best cuddles that results when you “sit” he wants to be in your lap. We will admit that he is not totally house trained and so that is a work in progress. He is crate trained as long as not being left for long hours cause of his age. He walks on a leash as amateur but worked with it. He loves to go for long walks and see new things. When it comes to feeling secure with a family, he is Ok with children who are respectable and who want to give him gentle and loving hugs. The Jack Russell breed is an active and vibrant one of colorful moods and playful antics. They can be loving and snuggly and then zooming around the backyard with the energy that you wish you still had in your body. They are invigorating and challenging to kind of up your ante so to speak. They can help you be more determined every day to be more focused and productive. We love the active dogs that bring a zest to the pace of life and an intelligence that will keep you thinking great thoughts and making great strides in life. If you are in search of a loving, yet active little dog, then you have found just the right girl! Bonnie is a young, one year old, 18 pound, Jack Russell who is spunky and happy and oh so cuddly. She is the total package of smart, quick to learn, and easy to love. Bonnie is a little shy when you first meet her, but we guarantee she will warm up fast. She loves to play with other dogs and pull out all the toys at the foster home. And what a cuddle bug she is who longs to be someone’s very special little girl. She is still working on her house training, but is crate trained for short periods. No, 8 hour long crate time will work for her. As you can imagine with an active dog, a fenced in yard would work best. Bonnie would also love to have her new family home most of the time because she loves her people. We are recommending that she be with an active family as she loves to see new sights and is ready for travel adventures and car rides. She is on the go and ready to love you! Update 12/18/22: Talk about cute! Puddin Jack Russell. This is Fritz who is a super cute Shortie jack Russell who is very loving and will be your shadow following you around the house. He smiles at you and wants to be your friend. Fritz is looking for a foster or forever home with adults only. Fritz will also need a jack russell personality understanding home because he has a lot of energy and will need opportunities to work it off plus he is very smart and treat oriented and could be taught all kinds of tricks! Fritz needs someone who will be patient with him as he communicates via growl and startles easily but with patience he can be a total doll. He would do best in a home without cats and with only one or two other dogs (or as an only dog). We have 5 dogs, 4 of whom are seniors, and he wears them out lol. He’s a great little guy and we’re hoping someone will give him a chance soon! Fritz just landed in Tennessee and will be looking for a home that appreciates the older generation. He is the Shortie JRT that everyone e us looking for. Does not like you to get in his face( who does) and small children are a no no.He has a certain food that keeps his tummy perfect, but that is all required to keep this gentleman running smoothly.
