This little girl was found starving and living on the streets. Her finding angel was scared she was going to be hit by a car. They picked her up and searched for her family. She was in obviousgu need of veterinary care. She was absolute skin and bones. She certainly isn't chunky now but she has gained enough weight to be deemed healthy enough to be spayed and vaccinated. She is a very happy little girl despite the rough life she has had so far. She appears to be just about a year old and is under 10 pounds. She has such a happy spirit! We would love for her to find a family that will love her and treat her like the treasure we know she is!

She was filthy, covered in fleas and ticks. She happily let us bathe her and get her all settled into a safe space. Rhoda has been vetted, current on all of her vaccines. She is heartworm positive and is undergoing slow kill treatment for it because of her age. Rhoda is dog, cat, and people friendly of all ages! She is leash trained and potty trained. Located in San Antonio Texas Meet Gerti the Border Terrier! She is our newest addition. She was found running the streets with her Dogo Argentino pal. The family that found them spent weeks trying to find their owners with no success. Gerti was not spayed and did not have a microchip. The good new is, she is now spayed, microchipped, and has had all her vaccines! The bad news is, she is heartworm positive. All though we are all very bummed about this she has a fabulous veterinarian that is taking care of her! She has started Gerti on her heartworm treatment protocol and says there is no reason why she can’t find a new home while she is undergoing treatment! Now we just need to find her that perfect place to call home! If you are interested in Gerti let us know.
