Story
Meet old lady Rhoda! Rhoda is estimated to be 10 years old. She was found on the side of a busy highway hopping around like she'd been wandering for quite awhile. She was filthy, covered in fleas and ticks. She happily let us bathe her and get her all settled into a safe space. Rhoda has been vetted, current on all of her vaccines. She is heartworm positive and is undergoing slow kill treatment for it because of her age. Rhoda is dog, cat, and people friendly of all ages! She is leash trained and potty trained. We think Rhoda would thrive in a calm home environment. She doesn't require much, just a comfy bed to sleep on and lots and lots of belly rubs. Reach out to ask more questions or schedule a meet and greet! Don't make miss Rhoda wait too long!

Story
Meet Drover! Drover is a playful, happy, and loving boy that wants nothing more than to be friends with everyone. He is a 11 month old small breed terrier mix. He was rescued from the streets of San Antonio, so there is still a lot about the world he doesn't know. Drover is resilient and brave. He will take on every new challenge with a wagging tail! Drover did have an injury to his hips when he first came to us. The vet believes it was blunt trauma either from being kicked or thrown out of a vehicle. Drover will need an FHO, hip surgery, when he is a year old which will be covered through the rescue. Drover is still a completely normal puppy and is not in any pain. But, if not corrected he will suffer from arthritis at a very young age. He is so excited to find his forever home. Drover is dog, cat and people friendly of all ages. Don't make this boy have to grow up in a shelter! Reach out to schedule a meet and greet!

Story
Here’s a polished version for an adoption platform that tells Louise’s story in a warm, engaging way: Meet Louise! 🩷 Louise was found living on the streets all by herself. Her finder immediately took her to be scanned for a microchip, but unfortunately she didn’t have one. They did everything they could to locate her family by posting on Facebook, Nextdoor, and PawBoost, but no one ever came forward to claim her. It appeared Louise had been surviving on her own for quite some time. She was very thin and had not been spayed. Wanting to give her a second chance, her finder contacted Mini Wonders Adoptions for help. Since coming into rescue, Louise has received the care she needed. She has been thoroughly examined by our veterinarian, spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and brought up to date on all of her vaccinations. Louise is an incredibly sweet little dog who absolutely loves people. One of her favorite things is snuggling up and sleeping in bed with her person. She is ready to leave her life on the streets behind and find a family to call her own. Now, all Louise needs is someone willing to open their heart and home to her and give her the love and security she has always deserved. Could that be you?

Move over, supermodels! Meet Jolie, our gorgeous gal who is officially ready to take on the runway—and the world! This girl knows exactly how to strike a pose. Whether she’s lounging on the couch or waiting for cuddles, she is always ready for the camera to capture her good angles. Jolie is a true scampering superstar. She’s been the life of the party around the other office pups, keeping them on their toes even when they’re three times her size! While you’ll never catch a dull moment with this lightning-in-a-bottle pup, Jolie would never refuse an afternoon nap in a comfy lap, either. Take it from us! An absolute sucker for both deep scratches and spirited games of tug-of-war, our Jolie girl has duality like no other. While she has loved being part of the cast of characters at SNIPSA, she is ready for her big break at a forever home where she can truly shine. If your home is missing a load of affection, a sprinkle of star power, and the occasional fly-by of brown fur, Jolie is ready to sign a lifetime contract with you! Apply to adopt today.

Story
We recently welcomed a gentle girl from our rescue partners, and her arrival was as sweet as a song. After a soothing bath and a long, well-deserved nap in her cozy kennel bed, this little lady woke up and began to "whisper" to us with soft, soulful howls, asking for nothing more than a friend to be near. It was at that moment we knew her name had to be Lyric. Lyric is a Red Heeler mix who defines the term "charming." Her foster mom raves about her sweet nature, sharing, "She is such a cuddle bug and loves to be glued by your side regardless of what you're doing. I'm cooking? She's laying down on the mat. Weeding the yard? She's sitting in a sunny grass patch." A true, low-maintenance "velcro dog" in the best sense of the word, Lyric finds her greatest joy simply being in your presence and serves as the perfect "starter dog" for any home. Lyric is a patient, devoted friend looking for a lifelong partner to harmonize with. If you are ready to welcome a "melody" of love and loyalty into your home, Lyric is ready to meet you. Apply today to start writing a beautiful new chapter together! Watch my video!

Story
Meet Shea, a pint-sized Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is living proof that the sweetest souls can come from the toughest beginnings. Though her past includes abandonment and a life where she wasn't treated with the care she deserved, Shea has emerged as a joyful, affectionate little shadow who just wants to love and be loved. She possesses that perfect, youthful puppy energy that brings life into a room without being overwhelming or hyper. To top it all off, she is undeniably, jaw-droppingly cute. Shea is an absolute social butterfly who genuinely loves the company of other canines. She is a total pacifist; when faced with a grumpy dog who doesn't want to share their space, she immediately diffuses the situation with sweet submission rather than fighting back. Because of her past abandonment, she does suffer from separation anxiety and is currently a dedicated "velcro dog" who will follow you from room to room. She is completely terrified of crates and will panic if confined, likely due to past trauma, and she desperately needs a home where she is not left entirely alone all day. However, her anxiety vanishes when she has a canine pack around her to commiserate with, making her the ultimate addition to a multi-dog household. Shea is looking for a patient, loving family, ideally with children and other dogs, who can give her the reassurance she craves. She has already mastered the doggie door, seems beautifully house-trained, and while she is still learning to trust a leash, she is a champ at using potty pads. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is to melt right into your arms for a nap. If you have a welcoming pack and a spot in your arms to fill, Shea is ready to follow you into her happily ever after. Her name is pepper and she is 11 years old. She is handicapped. About 8 years ago she was paralyzed from the hind legs and had to undergo surgery. Now she can walk and run but still has issues with her back right leg. She does have bladder issues due to not fully gaining all her feeling back to her lower half. She is a lover and is great with people and kids. She loves to run but can’t for too long because her back leg will start to give out.

Story
George was a stray that found his way into someone’s backyard. They didn’t know how he got in but they were determined to keep him in. They were unsuccessful. They tried to fix their fence to keep him in but he kept finding ways to escape. Finally they decided he wasn’t a good fit for them. George wanted to be an inside dog! He wants to be a part of the family. He wants to sleep in the bed with you and sit in your lap! George has done great with his temporary family. He does not try to escape anymore. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative. Now all George needs is someone who will love him as part of their family!
