Huck was surrendered by his owner. He was adopted as a young baby but it didn’t take long to realize he wasn’t a good fit for the family. Huck’s new owners had two large dogs that had no interest in adding a puppy to their family. Realizing they had made a mistake and weren’t going to be able to keep Huck safe they decided it was time to get Huck out of there. They contacted us to help them a safe place for Huck to live. Now Huck has been examined by our vet, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is ready to find a fabulous home. If you are interested in meeting Huck let us know.

Douglas was found in the streets of San Antonio. Not neutered, not microchipped, no owner found. He appeared to be running the streets for sometime. He was quite malnourished and appeared to be wasting away while waiting for someone to give him a chance at life. Douglas is a very friendly little dog who just wants to find a family to love him!

This little girl was found starving and living on the streets. Her finding angel was scared she was going to be hit by a car. They picked her up and searched for her family. She was in obviousgu need of veterinary care. She was absolute skin and bones. She certainly isn't chunky now but she has gained enough weight to be deemed healthy enough to be spayed and vaccinated. She is a very happy little girl despite the rough life she has had so far. She appears to be just about a year old and is under 10 pounds. She has such a happy spirit! We would love for her to find a family that will love her and treat her like the treasure we know she is!

Hi I’m Bella! I’ve been told I’m around 4 years old and am a Jack Russel Terrier mix. I haven’t had the best experiences with people in my past so I may be shy and cautious around new people, especially men. I require a patient family willing to earn my trust as I need extensive training and currently struggle with resource guarding. I’m also working on potty training and leash walking. I love to cuddle when it’s me wanting the cuddles. I love to sleep under the covers but do not like to be disturbed or moved during that time. Unknown with cats (even though my foster parents say I act like one) Unknown with younger kids As for other dogs it just depends. My foster siblings are a male pitbull (who I walk all over literally) and a female corgi who I sometimes pick on. Things I love : squeaky toys Things that I don’t like: water and flies

Meet Samantha. Two years old. Fifteen pounds. Fast as lightning and soft as a cloud. Samantha is a Brussels Griffon–Border Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a small, scruffy body. She loves to run, really run, and will happily play fetch before proudly carrying her toys around like treasured prizes. When playtime ends, she flips the switch to full cuddle mode. This girl is a true Velcro dog. She sleeps straight through the night, usually upside down, as close to her person as she can possibly get. She is incredibly affectionate with both humans and other dogs and would be happiest with a canine friend to romp and snuggle with, though she could adjust to being an only dog with plenty of companionship.
