Meet Drover! Drover is a playful, happy, and loving boy that wants nothing more than to be friends with everyone. He is a 11 month old small breed terrier mix. He was rescued from the streets of San Antonio, so there is still a lot about the world he doesn't know. Drover is resilient and brave. He will take on every new challenge with a wagging tail! Drover did have an injury to his hips when he first came to us. The vet believes it was blunt trauma either from being kicked or thrown out of a vehicle. Drover will need an FHO, hip surgery, when he is a year old which will be covered through the rescue. Drover is still a completely normal puppy and is not in any pain. But, if not corrected he will suffer from arthritis at a very young age. He is so excited to find his forever home. Drover is dog, cat and people friendly of all ages. More than a garnish, this pup is the make-it-or-break-it ingredient at SNIPSA! Cilantro has been in foster care for a few weeks, and his true flavors have already started to shine through. This boy is bursting with happiness, and he has quickly gotten the hang of the routine in the house. He’s very food motivated and picks things up quickly. When it’s time to eat, he will run straight to his kennel and wait for his dinner to be served! He’s also doing really well with sleeping through the night. In addition to his great manners, Cilantro is really smart, curious, mischievous and goofy. One of his favorite games is grabbing a toy, taking off running and diving for cover, then popping back out at you. He also loves to play tug, although he’s not very good at the actual tugging yet. He mostly likes to hold on and be dragged around, which he thinks is the greatest game ever. He is currently being fostered with his sister, Thyme, and he is fabulous at sharing his toys with her, too. No matter your palate, this tender sprout is the perfect addition to your plate. Apollo was found in my apartment complex this year. His nails were overgrown and his hair was matted. It was obvious he had been living on the streets for a long time. After cleaning him up I checked for a chip with a vet and they were able to contact his owners. Unfortunately it looks like they abandoned him as they never messaged back about their dog. He's stayed with me the past year and I've gotten to know him. He has some obvious street trauma but is quite friendly with people. He just doesn't like being surprised. Unfortunately he does not like other dogs. I've tried introducing him to a few dogs but he simply becomes very aggressive towards other dogs. He is house trained and will do his business on peepads every time. And he's a good lap dog as he loves laying down and cuddling up with someone. I don't know how old he is but he's in his later years I believe. Still quite energetic.

I rescued sky from owner who kept her outside. She would make her way to my house one way or another, through digging a hole or somehow opening her gate. The owner said he and his wife didn't want her anymore and just to leave her in streets. My heart hurt for her and I've kept her now for 3 years. She is an inside dog who is dog trained and goes outside every morning and evening to potty. She recently got pregnant from my daughter's pug- mix who was visiting. Now I have a litter of 8 pups now 9 weeks old and I work 16 hour days. This is just extremely too much for me and I have no help. Im looking for homes for the pups as well. A total of 8 of then. She is loving, loves walks, great with kids, does not like cats, she has to get uaued to dogs but she has been a solo dog for about 2 and a half years. She wants alot of attention. I allow her to sleep with me aloth she has a dog bed. I just feel bad that she has been alone most of day with her pups now. She is very smart and loving.

5 months old… Coco is a sweet and loving dog. She loves to cuddle and watch cartoons with dogs. She likes to run and play outside, playing fetch and walks.So I’ve had Coco on the rehome for about a year because I have such a busy schedule. I have a daughter who finished high school she’s going off to Texas Tech. We’re doing a lot of traveling. My job has me traveling. I don’t have any family members here where I live so there’s no one that I can really rely on to care for her because of that fact she is so precious. Coco is a sweetheart. She is truly a lovable, maybe overly affectionate dog but very active very loving very receptive easy to teach. I love her so much but I’m 55 years old. I’ve raised three girls my last leaving now and I just don’t have the energy to give her what she needs as well as what she requires. A family of children would be great for her because she loves kids. She’s not much of a guard dog, but people think she is because of her bark it’s quite aggressive.
