Meet Spotty A Super Social Little Guy Ready to Grow Up with a Family of His Own ❤️ Breed: Terrier Mixed Breed Gender: Male | DOB: 03/19/2026 | Weight/Size: 11 lbs (Currently Small) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | People ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats: Unknown Personality: ❤️ Friendly | Super Social | Playful | Affectionate Medical: ✔️ Neutered | ✔️ Vaccinated | ✔️ Dewormed | ✔️ NexGard Treated | Microchip Status: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Spotty's Story Spotty is a happy little guy who seems determined to make a friend everywhere he goes. At only five months old, Spotty is still discovering the world, and he approaches it with an incredibly social and friendly personality. He enjoys being around people, interacting with other dogs, playing, exploring, and getting plenty of attention. Spotty is super sociable, which is one of the first things you'll notice about him. Rather than sitting on the sidelines, he wants to be part of whatever is happening. He loves companionship and would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a young dog to include in everyday family life. He's still very much a puppy, so expect plenty of curiosity, playful energy, and enthusiasm. Toys, walks, games, training sessions, and new adventures will all help keep his growing mind and body busy. After the fun is over, Spotty is ready for affection and time with his people. His friendly nature makes him the kind of puppy who can quickly become an important part of the family. Because Spotty's specific breed mix is unknown, his adult size and breed characteristics cannot be predicted with certainty. What we do know is that this little boy has a big personality packed into his 11-pound body and plenty of love to give. Spotty would thrive in a home that provides: Plenty of companionship and affection Daily age-appropriate exercise Interactive play and toys Positive reinforcement puppy training Patient and consistent house-training Continued socialization Mental enrichment and training games A predictable household routine A safe indoor home where he's included as part of the family A lifelong commitment as he grows from puppy to adult Spotty is ready for someone who doesn't just want a puppy—they want a best friend to grow up alongside them. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect At five months old, Spotty is at an important stage for learning and socialization. His outgoing personality gives him a wonderful foundation, but continued training will help turn that friendly puppy enthusiasm into good adult manners. His adopter should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, occasional house-training accidents, energetic play, and lots of curiosity. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to start understanding his new household routine 3 Months to settle in, build trust, and truly feel at home Spotty will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Consistent house-training Basic obedience and leash training Safe socialization with people and other dogs Interactive toys and enrichment Age-appropriate walks and play Clear, consistent household boundaries Plenty of affection and encouragement Even though Spotty is naturally social, continued positive experiences with different people, places, sounds, and environments will be important as he matures. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Spotty has already received an excellent start on his veterinary care. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and has received NexGard parasite protection. His future family should continue providing: Routine veterinary wellness examinations Vaccines and boosters as recommended by his veterinarian Ongoing flea and tick prevention Heartworm and parasite prevention as recommended A nutritionally complete diet appropriate for a growing puppy Routine dental care Healthy weight management Daily physical exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Continued training and socialization Prompt veterinary care whenever illness or injury occurs A safe, comfortable indoor home Because Spotty is still growing, his nutritional and exercise needs will change as he matures. Regular veterinary care will help ensure he develops into a healthy adult dog. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Spotty, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to giving deserving dogs the opportunity to find safe, loving, permanent homes. Although we are based in Los Angeles, California, we proudly coordinate safe and reliable transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Spotty is young, healthy, super social, and ready for his next big adventure. He has an entire lifetime ahead of him and would love nothing more than to spend it playing, exploring, learning, and growing up beside a family he can finally call his own. ❤️August 17, 2026, 12:51 am

He has matured beautifully beyond the puppy stage while still keeping a youthful enthusiasm for life. Chilly T enjoys walks, playtime, attention, and simply being included in everyday activities with his humans. As a Jack Russell Terrier mix, Chilly T may show traits such as intelligence, curiosity, confidence, and energetic personality. Jack Russell Terriers are known for being clever, active dogs who thrive when given engagement, routine, and companionship. Chilly T would thrive in a home that can provide: Daily walks and activity Mental stimulation and interaction Structure and consistency Companionship and inclusion as part of the family He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a social, cheerful, and engaging dog with lots of personality. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Chilly T will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and consistency Continued socialization and engagement Mental stimulation and routine Patience during adjustment periods Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Chilly T will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and engagement Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping him live a healthy and happy life. Story
Meet Spirit 💛 Hi there… my name is Spirit, but if you ask nicely, you can call me Pretty Girl or Lady Dog. I’m a sweet 12–13 year old lady with a gentle soul. These days, my favorite hobby is napping — I’ve truly perfected the art. A cozy bed, a soft blanket, and the peaceful presence of my people? That’s my idea of a perfect afternoon. Every now and then I’ll surprise you by taking interest in an occasional cat toy… just to keep things interesting. Because I have some arthritis in my shoulders and hips, I prefer short, slow walks. I like to take my time and enjoy the little things. I also have limited sight and hearing, and I don’t have any teeth left. I can be a little unsure about shadows and windy days — they’re mysterious and a bit spooky to a lady with my limited vision. But with reassurance and a calm environment, I feel safe and content. My very best friends are my foster mom and dad. They give me delicious wet food and lots of love, which I think is a very fair trade for my devotion and sweet company. I’m good with cats and other dogs, and while it’s not known how I feel about kids, I’m such a calm and gentle girl that a quiet home would suit me best. If you’re looking for a low-key, loving companion who will happily snooze by your side and warm your heart every single day, I might just be your girl. Love, Spirit 🐾

At two and a half years old, this fun-loving girl has the perfect combination of youthful energy and adult maturity. She enjoys playing, exploring, spending time with people, and finding ways to make everyday life a little more entertaining. At only 15 pounds, Jabari is small enough to fit comfortably into many different lifestyles, but don't mistake her size for a lack of personality. She's an engaging little companion who would love having people to share her days with. Jabari has a cheerful, friendly nature and enjoys affection just as much as she enjoys having fun. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a smaller dog who still wants to get out, take walks, play, and be involved in family activities. As a Border Terrier Mix, Jabari may share many of the qualities that make Terriers such entertaining companions. Border Terriers are known for being intelligent, affectionate, curious, and energetic. They tend to enjoy exploring and benefit from having appropriate outlets for their natural curiosity. Jabari would thrive with a family that provides: Plenty of love and companionship Daily walks and regular exercise Interactive toys and playtime Positive reinforcement training Mental enrichment and games Continued socialization Consistent household routines Plenty of opportunities to participate in family life A safe indoor home where she's treated as part of the family A lifelong commitment Jabari doesn't need an extraordinary life to be happy. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect At two and a half years old, Jabari is past the puppy stage, but adult dogs still benefit tremendously from continued training and clear, consistent routines. Her future family should be prepared to continue working on any household manners, leash skills, basic commands, or other training she may need as she adjusts to her new environment. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand her new household routine 3 Months to settle in, build trust, and truly feel at home Terrier mixes can be bright and curious, so Jabari will appreciate activities that exercise her mind as well as her body. Sniffing walks, puzzle toys, training games, and interactive play can all help keep her happy and engaged. Positive reinforcement, patience, and consistency will help Jabari understand what's expected of her while building a strong relationship with her new family. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Adopting Jabari means committing to her care throughout the rest of her life. Her future family should provide: Routine veterinary wellness examinations Vaccinations and boosters as recommended by a veterinarian Spaying if not already completed Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention Routine dental care A nutritious, balanced diet Healthy weight management Daily physical exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Continued positive reinforcement training Veterinary treatment whenever illness or injury occurs A safe, comfortable indoor home At only two and a half years old, Jabari has many wonderful years ahead of her.
