Story
Meet Babie! 4.5 years old | 12 lbs | Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mixSay hello to Babie, a spirited little dynamo with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! This petite, mostly white sweetheart (with the cutest splash of brown on her ears) was found as a stray in rural Utah—but you'd never guess she’s had a rough start, because her joy for life is absolutely contagious.Babie is equal parts cuddle bug and zoomie queen. She's affectionate, endlessly playful, and bursting with personality. She thrives on interaction and play—whether it’s with her people, her toys (especially anything squeaky!), or other dogs. If you’ve got a playful pup at home, Babie would be in heaven! Just be warned: she can be a bit of a pest when she wants to play, but it’s all in good fun—there’s not a mean bone in her body. This little livewire needs a very active family who’s ready to keep her mind and body engaged. She’s smart, curious, and always ready for the next adventure or game of chase. A securely fenced yard is a must, and she'd love a household where someone is around often (her current foster works from home, and she’s loving it!). She’s fully house-trained and crate-trained, though she doesn’t need to be crated for long.Babie loves kids, as long as they’re gentle, and she’s great with other dogs—big or small, male or female. She’s even cat-friendly! After a day full of play and excitement, she’s happiest snuggled up with her humans, dishing out soft, sweet kisses.Babie is a rare gem—full of life, full of love, and looking for a forever home that can keep up with her zest for both. If your pup could use a fun-loving playmate or your family’s ready for an affectionate and entertaining new member, Babie may be the perfect fit.Ready to meet your next best friend? Story
Cady is an adorable senior lady with a big personality! She’s sweet, but she definitely knows what she likes and doesn’t like, especially when it comes to sharing her space with other dogs. Food is her treasure, and she can be quite protective of it! Cady is pretty clever, too. She can use a dog door, as long as it’s not too high. She’s also good with stairs, but honestly, she’d rather be carried — who wouldn’t want to be pampered a bit? When it comes to her favorite activities, Cady loves nothing more than lounging around and getting some love. She’ll happily snuggle up while you pet her, often drifting off to sleep in sheer bliss. She’s not the type to run around nonstop; she prefers a laid-back lifestyle. However, it’s good to keep in mind that Cady might not be the best fit for homes with small children, as she can be a little particular about her space. Overall, she’s a lovely companion who enjoys chilling out and soaking up affection! Cady has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Cady, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
