Story
Meet Nerón Male DOB: 4/6/2024 Weight: 15 lbs  Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Feist Mix Neutered (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Nerón may be small in size, but he has a presence that feels so much bigger—loyal, aware, and deeply connected to the people he trusts. At two years old, he’s in that perfect stage where his personality is fully coming through. He’s no longer a puppy, but still full of life, curiosity, and heart. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just live in your home—he becomes part of your everyday rhythm. Personality Nerón is intelligent, alert, and very people-focused. He forms strong bonds and loves being near his person, whether it’s going for a walk or simply relaxing at home. He has a playful, active side, but it comes with awareness—he’s always tuned in to what’s happening around him. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be involved, to understand, and to connect. Once he trusts you, his loyalty runs deep. Breed Info As a Jack Russell Terrier / Feist mix, Nerón combines: The Jack Russell’s intelligence, energy, and lively personality The Feist’s loyalty, agility, and strong human bond This mix creates a dog who is quick, responsive, and deeply devoted, with a natural curiosity and eagerness to engage. He will benefit from both physical activity and mental stimulation. Ideal Home Nerón would do best in a home that can offer engagement, structure, and companionship. He will thrive with someone who enjoys an interactive dog and is ready to include him in daily life. Owner Responsibilities Nerón will need regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistency. Like all dogs, he requires proper care, routine, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider He is a smart, active dog who will do best with guidance and engagement. Please ensure your lifestyle allows for the time and attention he needs. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and consistency, Nerón will become an incredibly loyal companion. Veterinary Care Nerón is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing him to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue his care. Important Note Nerón is an indoor family dog. Story
Meet Spirit 💛 Hi there… my name is Spirit, but if you ask nicely, you can call me Pretty Girl or Lady Dog. I’m a sweet 12–13 year old lady with a gentle soul. These days, my favorite hobby is napping — I’ve truly perfected the art. A cozy bed, a soft blanket, and the peaceful presence of my people? That’s my idea of a perfect afternoon. Every now and then I’ll surprise you by taking interest in an occasional cat toy… just to keep things interesting. Because I have some arthritis in my shoulders and hips, I prefer short, slow walks. I like to take my time and enjoy the little things. I also have limited sight and hearing, and I don’t have any teeth left. I can be a little unsure about shadows and windy days — they’re mysterious and a bit spooky to a lady with my limited vision. But with reassurance and a calm environment, I feel safe and content. My very best friends are my foster mom and dad. They give me delicious wet food and lots of love, which I think is a very fair trade for my devotion and sweet company. I’m good with cats and other dogs, and while it’s not known how I feel about kids, I’m such a calm and gentle girl that a quiet home would suit me best. If you’re looking for a low-key, loving companion who will happily snooze by your side and warm your heart every single day, I might just be your girl. Love, Spirit 🐾
