Story
Beanie was a stray. She came to our home and was attracted to our birds (though we'd never actually let her play with them for obvious reasons). We have other cats in the home, so we advise slowly introducing them to each other through closed doors to get them used to each other. Beanie is a very talkative girl! Very sweet and very cute. When we took her in, we had all her shots updated. Beanie is currently 6 months old, 7 months in late December. We aren't able to afford anymore cats in the home, so we had to put her up for adoption. I hope whoever adopts her will spend some quality time with her. She loves climbing, so I hope they also have places to climb, as well as places to hide. I put unknown for "good with other cats" since she's young, so I can't say she's up for playing around with older cats until she's at least bigger and 1 years.

Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Our 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' litter are ready to join their new families just in time for the holidays! And at 5 months old they are a fabulous bunch. They have been wonderfully socialized in their foster home and all of them have amazing personalities. They are sweet, loving, affectionate and playful. They can be adopted in a pair or individually. They would make a great companion for an existing cat or cat savvy dog in the home. They can also join a home with children. Here are some individual characteristics about each of them. Cindy-Lou Who: One magical night, I followed a shimmering moonbeam that led me straight to DPS Rescue. I'm a sweet, friendly, and cuddly kitten, always ready for a snuggle or a playful adventure. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share in all of life's magical moments, I'm the perfect kitten for you. Just stare into my beautiful blue eyes and let's start our enchanting journey together! Groopert: I'm super friendly, cuddly, and oh, I love to play. My days are filled with goofy antics and funny purrs that will surely make you laugh. If you're looking for a smart companion, pick me, my foster home says I could be leash trained. I also think I am a bird at times, climbing up on my foster dad's shoulders while he walks around the house. Let's create our own exciting stories together. I am a wonderful boy! Grinchy: I'm cuddly and love snuggling up with humans. My foster home says I take over the bed at night, sprawling out in complete relaxation. When I'm not curled up in a warm lap, I'm exploring every nook with my boundless energy. I'm sweet and have a big heart, ready to share all my love. If you're looking for a spirited and affectionate companion who promises to fill your home with joy and adventure, I'm your boy! Izzy: I have a big heart. I love cuddling up with my human friends and sharing sweet, quiet moments. Although I'm a bit shy at first, once I warm up to you, I'm the most loyal friend you could ask for. I even like to sleep close to my humans, keeping them company through the night. If you're looking for a gentle companion to share in all the cozy, peaceful times, I'm the one for you. Let's make a home together! They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $200 each of $350 for a pair.November 30, 2025, 2:43 pm

He spends his days playfully chasing soft toys and exploring his surroundings with a gentle curiosity. Though shy at first, once he warms up to new friends, his sweet nature shines through, making him a loving companion. His playful antics will surely bring laughter and warmth to any home. He loves his kitty bed and looking out the window when lounging on the cat tree. He will need a home that will give him a little while to settle in. He doesn't trust as easily as other kitties but once he deems you worthy, believe us when we say, it will be worth the wait. His beautiful Seal Point coat along with his gorgeous blue eyes will mesmerize you when you meet him. He could easily join a home with another kitty as he loves playing with other furry friends in his current foster home. Nutmeg is ready to find his forever person or family, where he can thrive and share his boundless love and playful spirit. He has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.November 29, 2025, 3:20 pm
