Hello! My name is Judy, and I'm a 2-year-old Jindo mix weighing 9.5kg. I'm looking for a family who will see just how special I am. Before I was rescued, I spent my days wandering the streets on my own. Thankfully, I was brought to safety and given a fresh start. Now I'm ready to find a forever home where I can finally belong. If you're looking for a social butterfly, I might be your perfect match! I absolutely love people and enjoy making new friends wherever I go. Even though Jindos are often known for being reserved with strangers, that's not really my style. I'll happily walk right up to new people, turn around, wiggle my little bottom, and silently ask, "Could you give me some pets right here?" I adore being close to my people, getting kisses, and even climbing onto your lap whenever I can. 🥰 I enjoy spending time with other dogs too! One of my favorite places is a dog park where I can run, chase my friends, and zoom around with endless excitement. I'm an energetic girl who loves outdoor adventures, so I'd be happiest with a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and making fun memories together. I do have one little quirk—I'm a bit protective of my favorite toys and treats. When I'm playing with other dogs, it's best if toys and high-value snacks are put away so everyone can enjoy themselves peacefully. With this simple management, I get along wonderfully with my canine friends. When I move to a new place, I might have an occasional potty accident while I'm figuring everything out. But don't worry—I'm a quick learner and adapt very quickly. When I first arrived at the rescue, I settled in almost immediately and showed everyone what a bright, confident girl I am. Once I understand my routine, I know exactly where to go. There's something special about me that I'd love my future family to know. I have hearing loss, so I don't hear sounds the way most dogs do. But that doesn't stop me from learning! At the rescue, I've been taught using hand signals, and I already know basic cues like "sit." If my new family continues communicating with me the same way, I'll happily keep learning. I may not hear your voice, but I pay close attention to your eyes, your smile, and your hands. Sometimes I also walk in small circles in one direction. This is believed to be a neurological behavior that has become a long-standing habit since I was young. The good news is that it doesn't interfere with my daily life, and I'm otherwise a happy, active dog. I have so much love to give. I love being loved, and I love showing my affection right back. My world isn't built around sounds—it's built around trust, kindness, gentle touches, and the people who choose to love me. I'm dreaming of a family who will take me on adventures, run and play with me, and "talk" to me through hand signals and loving smiles. Together, we'll create a language that's all our own. Hello! My name is Buddy, and I'm a 4-year-old boy weighing 13.2kg, looking for the family I've always dreamed of. I was waiting in a municipal shelter with my time running out. I was on the euthanasia list, but thankfully, I was rescued just in time. That rescue gave me a second chance at life—and now I'm hoping my next chapter will be with my forever family. I'm a friendly and easygoing dog who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether I have furry siblings to play with or I'm the only dog in the house, I'm perfectly happy either way. I'm independent enough to enjoy my own company but also love sharing my life with others. People are pretty wonderful too! I'm friendly with both adults and children, and I'm not especially afraid of men. That said, I do seem to have a soft spot for women, especially gentle, nurturing women like moms or grandmas. They make me feel safe, and I tend to open my heart to them very quickly. 🤍 One of my favorite things in the world is playing with toys! When I'm feeling playful, I might let out a little bark as if to say, "Come play with me!" I also love cozy places, especially soft beds. If I'm sleeping beside my person, you'll often find me curled up near your legs or feet. But don't worry—I also sleep very well on my own, so I'm perfectly comfortable sleeping separately at night. I'm a little sensitive to loud noises. Sudden sounds, passing cars, or motorcycles can startle me, but I'm not the type to bark excessively because of them. I simply need a little reassurance while I build my confidence. I'm still working on my walking manners. I enjoy going for walks and prefer doing my business outside, but I could use a little more leash training. With patience and consistency, I'm sure I'll become an excellent walking companion. Car rides are probably my biggest challenge right now. I get motion sickness and can become anxious during long drives. You might notice me drooling, getting a runny nose, or breathing through my mouth. Even so, I usually stay settled by sitting or lying down instead of pacing around. One thing I'm really proud of is that I don't have separation anxiety. I'm quite comfortable spending time on my own. Around the house, I'm also a curious little explorer! I love sniffing every interesting scent and sometimes even licking the floor while I investigate. Because of my curious nose, my family will just need to keep an eye out to make sure I don't accidentally pick up anything I shouldn't. I've already learned a few tricks! I know "sit" and "paw," and I can even do "down" when I'm on the bed. I'm a smart boy, and I'd love to keep learning new things with a family that enjoys training and spending time together. I'm the kind of dog who can happily relax by myself, but when I want your attention, I'll bring you a toy or give a small bark to let you know it's playtime. I have a sweet way of communicating, and I think you'll quickly learn all my little expressions. My life almost ended before it truly began, but someone gave me a second chance. Now all I dream about is a warm bed, my favorite toys, peaceful walks, and a family to love for the rest of my life. 🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster homeHi… my name is Koon 🐾I’m a 1 year old Jindo mix boy, about 15kg, with a strong body and an even bigger heart. People say I’m still at that age where I just want to run, play, and learn everything about the world—and they’re right. But my world started a little differently. I came to a shelter when I was just a tiny puppy, and for over a year, my days were spent in a small space. I didn’t get to explore much back then… but somehow, I never stopped believing that people are kind and the world is exciting.When I see humans, my tail starts wagging before I even realize it. I walk right up to say hello—I just can’t help myself. I love other dogs too, and I make friends easily. Being around others makes me feel happy and safe. About six months ago, something new began for me. I moved to a training center, where I started learning what “life” can be like. I’ve met lots of different people, learned rules, and practiced basic training. The trainers say I’m smart (I think so too 😉), and they always smile when I show them my cute side—which I have a lot of.But there’s one thing I’ve never had before… a real home. I don’t yet know what it’s like to rest in a cozy house, to have my own spot, to follow a daily routine with my family, or even to fully understand where to go potty. Everything about living in a home will be new to me.So if you’re thinking about becoming my family, I might need a little patience at first. I might be unsure, or make mistakes while I learn. But I promise—I love people, I love learning, and I really want to do well. If you guide me with kindness and consistency, I’ll try my very best to grow into the dog you can be proud of. More than anything, I love being close to my person. I'm the kind of dog who wants to be by your side, following you from room to room, simply happy to know we're together. Even when I meet strangers, I don't hesitate to say hello. Instead of being shy, I'll happily walk over to ask for pets and share my affectionate personality. I also get along well with other dogs. However, because I form such strong bonds with my people, I think I'd be happiest as the only dog in the home. That way, I can share all of my love—and receive all of yours. Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day! I have nice leash manners and don't pull very much, making me an enjoyable walking companion.
