Story
After raising her two adorable puppies and being the most devoted mama, Gracie is finally ready for something she's never truly had before: a family of her very own. Now it's her turn to be loved, spoiled, and cherished.
At nearly 4 years old and 72 pounds, this beautiful Great Pyrenees has the gentlest soul and the sweetest personality. Gracie is a low-energy queen who believes life is best enjoyed with cozy naps, short walks, air conditioning, and plenty of affection from her people. She walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and is always happy to reward you with soft head nudges, soulful puppy-dog eyes, and her signature lip smacks.
Gracie is both crate trained and potty trained. She happily uses a doggie door to come inside, although she may need a little encouragement to head back out. If given the choice, she'd much rather be relaxing in the cool comfort of the air conditioning!
She is wonderful with children and has a special fondness for small dogs, who seem to remind her of her own puppies. While Gracie would be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home, she could also do well with another calm, easygoing canine companion.
Sweet Gracie has overcome more than most dogs ever should. When her foster mom noticed a limp, X-rays revealed something heartbreaking: nearly a dozen BB pellets lodged in her leg from being shot sometime in her past. Because the pellets cannot be safely removed, Gracie receives pain medication when needed, and Mazie's Mission helped to coordinate physical therapy to keep her comfortable.
Despite everything she's endured, Gracie remains one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ever meet. She doesn't dwell on her past; she's simply looking forward to a future filled with kindness, comfort, and a family to call her own.
Gracie isn't just a dog. She's a loyal companion, a professional couch cuddler, and a best friend waiting to happen.
