Story
🐾 Meet Atlas! 💦 Meet Atlas, a 9-month-old Labradoodle weighing in at 55 pounds—and he is ALL puppy! This silly boy is happy, playful, curious, and convinced that life is basically one giant adventure. And honestly? He may be onto something. 😂 Atlas has the cutest silly face and the sweetest dark eyes, and his personality is just as adorable. He loves everyone and everything, including other dogs, cats, and kids. He would absolutely love having another dog in the home to romp around with, or a family with a semi-active lifestyle who wants a four-legged sidekick for their adventures. 💦 Water is his love language. Sprinkler? YES. Hose? YES. Pool? ABSOLUTELY YES. Whether he's splashing around or actually swimming, Atlas is happiest when water is involved. He also LOVES toys, LOVES food, and is always ready to have a good time. Basically, if you're doing something fun, Atlas would like to know why he wasn't invited. Despite being a puppy, Atlas has some great manners already. He is fully potty trained and dog-door trained. He does well on leash, although he has a little puppy pulling to work on. He crates well and is quiet once he's settled. He may need a little treat-based encouragement to go in, and he might whine for about a minute—but then he's good to go. And what about that Labradoodle coat? Atlas doesn't have the super-high-maintenance doodle coat you might be expecting. He can be groomed and trimmed, but we don't anticipate him needing the frequent grooming that some doodles require. We also don't know with 100% certainty whether he sheds, but if he does, it appears to be minimal—not Lab-level shedding. Atlas is basically a 55-pound puppy with a heart full of sunshine, a love of water, a serious appreciation for snacks, and a whole lot of life to live. If you're looking for a happy, playful dog who can keep up with your adventures and then crash beside you afterward, Atlas might be your guy. ❤️🐾 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network. Story
🐾 MEET MARGOT! 🐾 If you’re looking for a big, beautiful girl who knows how to chill AND play, Margot might be your girl! 💕 Margot is a 2-year-old, 55 lb Labradoodle who is dog-door, crate, and leash trained. She’s great in the car, good with dogs and cats, and has an easygoing personality that makes her a wonderful companion. Most of the time, Margot is calm, quiet, and perfectly content to hang out with you. She loves to snuggle—but thankfully, she doesn’t feel the need to crawl inside your skin to do it. 😂 She’s affectionate without being overwhelming. UNTIL… 🎾 IT’S BALL TIME. 🎾 Margot is a professional fetch player. 😂 She LOVES her ball and will happily convince you that her only purpose in life is to retrieve it approximately 700 times. Because she gets so excited about playing, her ball time will need to be restricted and monitored. We want her to enjoy her favorite game without overdoing it! Margot does well with other dogs, but she isn’t a fan of super-hyper dogs getting right up in her face. If another dog is being too much, she’ll give a little growl and choose to walk away. We love a girl who knows how to communicate and remove herself from a situation. 🚨 IMPORTANT: Margot cannot be in a home with chickens or birds. She has shown that she cannot safely coexist with them, so this is a firm requirement for her forever home. And because Margot is a Labradoodle, her beautiful coat comes with a little responsibility! ✂️ She will require regular professional grooming as well as consistent brushing and coat maintenance at home to keep her coat healthy and prevent matting. ✨ Margot at a glance: 🐶 2 years old ⚖️ 55 lbs 🎾 Professional fetch player — ball time must be limited 🏡 Dog-door trained 🛏️ Crate trained 🦮 Leash trained 🚗 Great in the car 🐕 Good with dogs 🐈 Good with cats 💕 Loves to snuggle 😌 Calm & chill 🐔 No chickens or birds ✂️ Requires regular grooming & brushing at home Margot is the kind of dog who can spend the afternoon lounging around with you and then suddenly decide it’s time to clock in for her fetch shift. 😂 She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her calm personality, respect her boundaries, keep her ball obsession appropriately managed, and commit to the grooming her beautiful coat requires. Margot is ready to find her forever family! 🏡❤️ 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled or have been offered to another rescue within our network.
