Meet Matilda 🐾 Matilda is a 10-month-old Labradoodle weighing about 36 lbs, and she’s equal parts fun, sweet, and eager to please. This girl has the funniest little white goatee, which makes her expressions even more adorable and gives her a bit of extra personality. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it! Matilda loves water, enjoys playing with other dogs, and would truly thrive in a home with a canine companion who wants to run and play. A secure fenced yard would be ideal so she can burn off her happy energy, unless her family is committed to giving her regular exercise and adventures. She has a quiet, fun personality and is the kind of dog who enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. Matilda is also very food motivated, which makes training much easier, and she genuinely wants to make her people happy. She is: • Crate trained • Rides great in the car • Doing amazing with potty training Matilda is still young and learning, but she’s off to a wonderful start and will make a fantastic companion for a family ready to keep guiding her as she grows. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful dog with a little goofy charm (and an unforgettable goatee), Matilda might just be your girl. 💛 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Story
Aurora was adopted from Elmore County Humane Society in Jan 2024. She was supposedly 6 mos old when we adopted her, but our vet estimated her age was closer to a year. So she is approximately 2.5 years old. Due to recent life altering events and having to get a second job, I am unable to give her the attention she needs. She is a high energy mixed breed and needs to run free. I would prefer her to go to a home that has a fenced in yard. She does great with kids. She is very friendly, sometimes a little too friendly. She has lived with cats at one time. She gets along with them well, but because she wants to play, the cats may take awhile to get used to her. She doesn't go on walks, so she isn't well trained on a leash. I have had a shock collar on her since I have had her in my apt. She responds well to the beeps and the vibrations. Kennel comes with her. She is a really sweet girl, and it breaks my heart to rehome her, however, she deserves a better life!
