Story
Meet Matilda 🐾 Matilda is a 10-month-old Labradoodle weighing about 36 lbs, and she’s equal parts fun, sweet, and eager to please. This girl has the funniest little white goatee, which makes her expressions even more adorable and gives her a bit of extra personality. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it! Matilda loves water, enjoys playing with other dogs, and would truly thrive in a home with a canine companion who wants to run and play. A secure fenced yard would be ideal so she can burn off her happy energy, unless her family is committed to giving her regular exercise and adventures. She has a quiet, fun personality and is the kind of dog who enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. Matilda is also very food motivated, which makes training much easier, and she genuinely wants to make her people happy. She is: • Crate trained • Rides great in the car • Doing amazing with potty training Matilda is still young and learning, but she’s off to a wonderful start and will make a fantastic companion for a family ready to keep guiding her as she grows. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful dog with a little goofy charm (and an unforgettable goatee), Matilda might just be your girl. 💛 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application. Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or have been offered to another rescue within our network. If that happens, don’t worry—we’re always happy to help you find another great match! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!)
