Like any young puppy, Coal is still learning the ropes. He’s currently working on his leash skills, so he’ll need a patient adopter willing to guide him as he grows. The good news? He’s crate trained and already doing well using the backyard for potty time—he just needs consistency to fully master house training. Turk is a very sweet 9 year old boy. He has a lot of anxiety with new people so he tends to bark a lot whenever someone comes in or comes by the door. It is hard to have new people over because of this. He does not like to go on walks because of his anxiety. He has never bitten anyone but has snapped a few times. He is protective of his space but is good with other dogs. He is not bad with children and mostly ignores our child. He is extremely food motivated. He is crate trained. We think he needs to be in a place where he is the only animal/child so that he can get the attention he deserves.
