Story
Hi! I'm Samantha, a 10-month-old Labradoodle weighing 40 pounds! I’m a happy, playful girl with plenty of puppy energy and a goofy, loving personality. I’m always ready for an adventure, whether that means playing, exploring, or making new friends. If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup who will keep you smiling, I might just be your girl!
Favorite Things: Samantha loves being with her people and is happiest when she’s part of the action! She enjoys romping and playing with other dogs, especially those who can keep up with her puppy energy. After playtime, she’s more than happy to curl up right beside her favorite human for some quality snuggle time.
Training and Manners: Samantha is still a young puppy and has plenty to learn! She is working on leash confidence, house manners, housetraining, and basic training skills and will need a family who can provide patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. She is a fast learner and eager to please, so she’s ready to blossom with a family willing to help her along the way!
Health and Care: This healthy girl is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccines. As a Labradoodle, Samantha will require regular brushing at home and routine professional grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. Her adopters should be prepared for the ongoing time and financial commitment that comes with her grooming needs.
Other Animals: Samantha is a social girl who plays wonderfully with other dogs and especially loves having playful canine friends to romp around with. A dog who enjoys an energetic playmate could be a great match for her! Samantha has not yet been introduced to cats, so her compatibility with feline friends is currently unknown.
Children: Samantha is a joyful, affectionate girl who loves people and gets along well with everyone she meets. She is still learning to understand boundaries, though, and her puppy enthusiasm can sometimes get the best of her. Because of her size and energy, she would do best with children who are sturdy enough to handle an exuberant 40-pound pup without being easily knocked over.
Ideal Home: Samantha will need a single-family home with a securely fenced-in yard, as she is not yet comfortable walking on a leash and will need a safe place to get her exercise and enjoy the outdoors. Her ideal family will be dog-savvy and patient, understanding that raising a puppy takes time, consistency, and plenty of guidance. She can also be quite loud when left alone, so a home where her vocal nature can be managed comfortably is important. Most importantly, Samantha needs a family who will truly invest in her success and help her build confidence, learn good manners, and become the wonderful adult dog she is meant to be.
