Story
This scrumptious little dumplin’ is Velvet—sister to Canuck, Pepperoni, and Twilight. She is a 1 year old lab/GSD mix. Smallish (about the size of a sheltie)—she looks 35 lbs but weighs in at 43 lbs—not chunky, just solid. In excellent health and with a luxurious coat, Velvet is a delight. Shy and demure, but oh so funny—when Velvet is excited (wake up time, meal time, and outdoor exploration time), she does a hilarilous upper body shimmy/lower body wiggle that will bring you to your knees smiling at her adorable antics.   House-trained, not a barker, independent-but-lovable, and with a signature rear-left-paw high-five, Velvet brings amusement and character and the promise of an amazing companionship. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $250 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org. ##2508441##

Story
This funny spunky monkey is Audra. Just coming out of her puppydom, Audra is 1.5 years old and 35 pounds. Small in stature with a petite yet muscular build, Audra’s breed mix may be lab with chihuahua or rat terrier…or maybe lab with the rare but prized Xolo. Audra is happiest with a friend or two or three to play with (Callie and Canuck are her best friends). She is exuberant when her house mates wake up and enter her space to say hi, or at meal-time, and during outdoor exploration time. While playful and with a spirited personality, Audra is shy with new people—this is a personality trait that is gradually fading and is something we expect she’ll fully slough off the happier she becomes (it’s adorable watching her blossom) and in her new home. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida.
