Name: Buddy Breed: Labradoodle Sex: Male Age: 3.18.2025 Spayed/Neutered: Will be neutered/spayed prior to adoption Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter. Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age) Housetrained: Getting there. Microchipped: Not yet Adoption Fee/Donation: $400 Important!! Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.

Story
Maggie is a 6 year old labradoodle with lots of love and life left in her. She has been our family dog for 4 years, after being adopted from a breeder who accidentally bred her before she was ready. When her puppies weened, we took her in. She is sweet, gentle, and low energy. She is trainable - she knows sit and lay down, but she would learn more with how food motivated she is. She pulls on walks, but she responds well to positive praise. She is skiddish around men with beards and barks a lot, but she is not aggressive. She does eventually warm up to new people/men after they are gentle with her and give her slow pets. She has been in the house with a baby, toddler, cat, and other dog her whole life and she has always done well. She does not show signs of food aggression. She is crate trained and she does well in a car. She does not need a crate to be left in the house alone though. She is being rehomed due to my son developing an allergy, and she does shed quite a bit.

Story
Bronco is a 1 year old, 60ish lb, male Labradoodle looking for a home that has the time to give this young boy all of the exercise and direction he can take. Bronco is crate-trained and sleeps in it at night and when his person is away. They tell us "He loves attention and love. I don’t think he realizes he’s not a little lap dog as he is so sweet and lovable! Bronco loves to play fetch and loves exercise and playtime." Our GRRAND volunteer in the GRRAND playfield says: "Bronco is primarily black but does have a white chest. His shorter wavy curls are amazing to see. Bronco is of medium stature and is at a healthy weight and is very handsome. Bronco loves to be outdoors and he plays well with a dog similar in size and age. Bronco enjoys carrying around a tennis ball, sniffing, and running in a fenced yard. He knows his name, is fairly good at recall, sitting, and taking treats. Bronco has a zest for life, loves humans, and is looking forward to finding his forever home. This guy loves obedience training, toys, and other dogs and in general, is a very happy, outgoing dog." Story
Michael and DJ (about 88lbs each) are a bonded pair of 8 year old Labradoodle brothers that are looking for their forever home together at no fault of their own. Their owner is being moved to an assisted living home and can no longer care for the boys. We are told: "They are brothers from the same litter, and they have to stay together as they have only known life together with my parents. They’re the kindest, sweetest, most gentle dogs." The boys are in a foster home and they say:  "DJ and Michael (aka Mickey) are the chillest, happiest dogs ever. They ask for so little and are just so sweet! These two boys are just the sweetest dogs.  They love to carry around toys and do not destroy them at all.  They are extremely smart and loving.  They are the perfect dogs as they can adjust to a completely relaxing day of little activity and also have fun running and playing.  They enjoy playing with my two dogs and love cuddles!  I was told they were not crate trained, but get into my dogs crates to relax often.  I groomed them both and they were so easy to work with.  They learn quickly and are eager to please.  They are low maintenance dogs with an amazing amount of love to give." (Some dogs love having their picture taken, and others run the second you get the camera out... DJ and Mickey run the second you get the camera out LOL) They are house-trained and are trustworthy when left alone in the house. We are still learning about them, but they will need a home that has the time to help them with adjusting to a new home and giving them the exercise and direction they need.  If you would like to meet these 2 guys, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2706524##

Story
My wife and I rescued this dog after he was abandoned by a family member with another family member. He was going to be sent to another family member who was going to chain him out to a tree in February when snow was on the ground and we could not allow that to happen. He was underweight and malnourished when we got him and we have gotten him back to a healthy weight. He has a LOT of energy and we do not have a fenced yard to allow him somewhere to run and get that energy out. He needs to live somewhere where he has a play area to get his energy out and possibly has another dog to play with that can match his play energy. Loves to fetch balls. He is a heavy chewer and needs good strong toys he can chew on. He is starting to learn commands and has an e-collar we call his remote control. We use vibration and audible settings only and have actually removed the prongs from the unit that allows the shock method to be used so it doesn't chafe his skin and can't be used.
