Nova is a 2 year old, male Labradoodle weighing about 55lbs. He is being surrendered to GRRAND due to very unfortunate circumstances with his family. He is house-trained and crate-trained and sleeps on the floor in a room with a family member at night.  This guys fault is that he wants to be friends with everyone and every animal he meets! We are told: "He is a wonderful doggy. He loves all people, is fun and super smart. He is the best-behaved dog. The only thing particular about him is that he thinks everyone is his best friend and wants to play or at least say hi. However, he will bark and make ruckus if he believes a stranger is approaching when in his home. The perfect mix! He knows lots of commands; Sit, no, down, up, wait, roll-over, do a dance, lay-down, go to your place, no barking, and some others." Our GRRAND volunteer who hangs with Nova in the field office says: "This best boy is being called Cassanova at the kennel! Mr. Casanova/Nova is so very smart, fun, and loving. He knows many commands and loves to say hi, lean in, and snuggle, but also enjoys running figure 8s in a grassy yard. This boy is very gentle and polite." Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Pickles (35lb male) and his sibling Lily (40lb female) are almost 2 year old, Double Doodles looking for their new family, as their human sibling has developed a significant allergy to them. This is a very hard decision for them to make, as they planned for these 2 to be forever family members, but for the health of their son, they have made this hard choice to rehome them. They tell GRRAND "We are not rehoming them because of behavioral problems, lack of training, or because we no longer want them. In fact, they are wonderful dogs who have become very important members of our family. They are approximately one year old, potty trained, spayed/neutered, and accustomed to being loved and included as family pets. We have tried to make the situation work because we love them and did not want to consider giving them up. However, we have come to the difficult realization that finding them a new home where they can receive the attention, love, and family life they deserve is the responsible thing to do for both our dogs and our son. Our biggest priority is finding the right home rather than simply finding them a home quickly. We want them to go to a family that understands the commitment of owning doodles and will love them as lifelong family members. We are committed to making sure they go to a safe, loving, permanent home where they will be cherished." These 2 cuties are very sweet in nature, crate-trained, (are crated together in the crate as they adore eachother) and they are also house-trained. They are very excitable pups, and do jump up when happy to see you. Pickles is very athletic/fit and ready to chase whatever you throw and Lily is a little more laid back, but also ready for play... most of their exercise comes from free play in their fenced backyard that they love so much. They have lovely personalities and will make great dogs for a family who is wanting to make them an important part of their lives.
