Meet Sterling! This big, gentle Lab/Doberman mix knows how to make an entrance with his shiny coat, expressive eyes, big floppy ears, and that happy, full tail. He’s a total heartthrob just waiting for his moment! Sterling may take a little time to warm up, but once he knows he’s safe, he’ll melt right into you—leaning his head into your hands, gazing up at you, and completely stealing your heart. He came to us from a hoarding situation, and while his face tells a few stories from his past, his bright spirit and gentle nature shine through as he bravely moves forward. Trying new things can still feel a little scary (you might catch his tail tucked now and then), but Sterling is learning every day and gaining confidence with each step. He’s eager to please, food-motivated, and ready to blossom with someone who can offer patience, kindness, and love. He’s also figuring out how to walk on this strange thing called a leash—but honestly, he’d rather just stay right by your side anyway. 💙 If you’re looking for a gorgeous hunk with a soft heart and endless potential, Sterling would love to meet you today! 🐶💫

Ball? Did you say ball? I am a beautiful lab who has lived with other dogs in the past. I love to have belly rubs and walk pretty well on a leash--wait would you please throw my ball for me? I am super motivated by fetch. I only have use of one eye due to an injury as a puppy but it doesn't slow me down. Throw my ball for me and find out how awesome I am at fetching it despite my vision impairment.
