She is a 2.5 year old spayed labradoodle. She loves attention and to snuggle. She comes from a home with 2 toddlers (one special needs). She loves to be outside and run. Has a great recall. Understands sit, wait, lay down. Releases to eat with "okay". She does have a chicken allergy- it causes her to lose her fur on her chest & soft stools. We are rehoming due to our other dog having medical issues and she is being aggressive towards Celeste.

He’s a low-maintenance companion who adores belly rubs, naps, and rolling happily on a soft surfaces just to amuse himself! Blackey gets along beautifully with calm dogs and would do best in a peaceful home with no young kids. He’s sensitive to loud noises like storms/firecrackers, but responds wonderfully to soft calm voices and gentle love. He doesn’t need much—just a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and cherished in his golden years. Hi there, I'm George! I’m a 1-year-old Lab mix, and I’m basically a big ball of goofy happiness! I love people so much that when I wag my tail, my whole body gets in on the action. Treats are my favorite thing in the world—I’ll do just about anything for one! I get along great with everyone—dogs, cats, and kids—and I’m potty trained, too. I can seem like a lot of energy at first, but don’t worry, I settle down once I’ve had a chance to say hi. I’m just a joyful guy looking for a family to share all my love (and wags!) with! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2380770##
