Story
Nova is a 2 year old, male Labradoodle weighing about 55lbs. He is being surrendered to GRRAND due to very unfortunate circumstances with his family. He is house-trained and crate-trained and sleeps on the floor in a room with a family member at night.  This guys fault is that he wants to be friends with everyone and every animal he meets! We are told: "He is a wonderful doggy. He loves all people, is fun and super smart. He is the best-behaved dog. The only thing particular about him is that he thinks everyone is his best friend and wants to play or at least say hi. However, he will bark and make ruckus if he believes a stranger is approaching when in his home. The perfect mix! He knows lots of commands; Sit, no, down, up, wait, roll-over, do a dance, lay-down, go to your place, no barking, and some others." Our GRRAND volunteer who hangs with Nova in the field office says: "This best boy is being called Cassanova at the kennel! Mr. Casanova/Nova is so very smart, fun, and loving. He knows many commands and loves to say hi, lean in, and snuggle, but also enjoys running figure 8s in a grassy yard. This boy is very gentle and polite." He is a high energy young doodle so he is looking for a family that can give him the exercise and direction he needs to be a good boy.  We are still learning about Nova so please check back for more info but if you would like to meet this handsome boy, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2847349##

Jack is a very good dog, he is very smart. He just needs someone to work with him. He’s high energy. He’s also best with an adult or 2. He is 5 years old. When we first got him it was just me and my husband. We have 5 grandkids now and our house is very busy. He’s not good with a lot of commotion. He gets stressed out. He’s also afraid of thunder and fireworks. He is very loving and somewhat of a leaner. He likes to be very close to you. We want someone who will love him and take good care of him.

🐾 Meet Paul Revere — The Last of His Litter! Somehow, this handsome boy is still waiting for his FairyTails ending! Paul Revere is the last of his litter looking for a home, and he is sweet, energetic, loving, and ready for a family of his very own. We even have DNA results for his litter, and they’re quite the mix! Paul Revere is 52% American Foxhound, 32% Poodle (Medium & Standard), 15% Labrador Retriever, and 1% Treeing Walker Coonhound. Paul did wonderfully in his foster home… until he discovered the koi pond. 😂 During the hot weather, he decided it made the perfect place to jump in and cool himself off. Unfortunately, once he realized there were fish in there, chasing them became a little too interesting! His foster family understandably needed their koi to remain unchased, so Paul came back to FairyTails. He’s done nothing wrong—he’s simply an energetic, curious young dog who would love a family that can give him plenty of activity, playtime, and adventures. Let’s get this last little guy from his litter HOME! Want to help Paul Revere get adopted? Any donations made under his post will be applied directly toward sponsoring his adoption fee. While waiting for adoption, our animals live either in loving foster homes or at our facility in warm, spacious suites with plenty of food, water, toys, attention, and love.

Lucy came to us as an owner surrender. Her owner overcommitted herself and wasn’t able to give Lucy the time and attention she deserved so she reached out to us to help. Thankfully she did because poor Lucy is heartworm positive and will be receiving lifesaving treatment within the next month! Lucy is 4 years old and a sweetie. She loves everyone and gets along good with other dogs and loves kids too! She is housetrained and will be available for adoption once her treatment is complete. Lucy has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and current on flea preventative prior to adoption. For additional info or an adoption application, please email bettinav@hotmail.com
