Story
Meet Camden: the glow up we all needed. Camden's story started in a field, where he was found emaciated and so severely matted that he could barely see. It was heartbreaking to imagine how long he had been carrying all of that weight, literally and emotionally. But underneath those horrific mats was the most incredible surprise. A gorgeous doodle type boy with soft curls, beautiful root beer colored eyes, and a smile that could light up the entire shelter. Camden is around 2 years old and currently weighs 34 lbs, though he does need to gain some weight. Even after everything he has been through, he is sweet, dog friendly, playful, and full of joy. He loves to prance around like a little fawn, chase after toys, and then immediately bounce right back to you for love because apparently toys are fun, but people are the real prize. He has this gentle, happy way about him that makes everyone stop and smile. Camden is silly, affectionate, and so ready for the next chapter of his life to be the one he always deserved. We know this special boy is going to make a wonderful addition to one very lucky family. He has already come so far, and now he just needs a home that will help him keep blooming. Story
APPLY FOR LUNA HERE THROUGH OUR RESCUE PARTNER FLY DOGZ ADOPT: https://tinyurl.com/mrxduj6n Meet Luna, a 3.5-month-old, 14.5-lb sweetheart whose life could have ended before it ever truly began. Fly Dogz Adopt (one of our amazing partners) was asked to help this special little girl find the future she deserves. When Luna was found abandoned on a beach in Puerto Rico, she was just a baby with a broken leg and no one looking out for her. While other puppies were playing and exploring the world, Luna was trying to survive. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers stepped in. Her leg was treated, she received the care she desperately needed, and today she is fully healed. Watching her run, play, and snuggle now, you would never know what she endured. What makes Luna truly special isn't her resilience, it's her heart. Despite being abandoned and injured, Luna loves with her whole being. She is one of the sweetest puppies you'll ever meet, happiest when curled up next to her people. If she had her way, she'd spend every day cuddled in your lap, soaking up affection and reminding you how grateful she is to be safe. Luna is currently being fostered in New York and can be transported anywhere throughout the Northeast to the perfect home. This little girl has already overcome more hardship in a few months than most dogs face in a lifetime. Now she deserves the easy part: a family who will love her forever, a soft place to sleep, and the chance to grow up knowing she will never be abandoned again. If you're looking for a puppy whose heart is as beautiful as her story, Luna is waiting for you.

Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesHarley Memphis is a sweet, loyal, sensitive soul who is looking for a patient and loving family to live out his golden years. He recently underwent two major surgeries and is looking for a home that will continue to meet his unique medical needs. Although he has some physical limitations, he does not let this bring him down and is enjoying his life to the fullest!A few of Harley’s favorite things include snuggling with his humans, going for short walks, zoomies in small spaces, and spray cheese! Due to his mobility issues, Harley would do best in a home with minimal stairs and that has carpeting as he sometimes slips on hardwood floors. He would love a home with lots of soft dog beds, as he is unable to jump onto furniture. He does well with new dogs after proper introductions, but should have monitored interactions with other dogs, especially when approached from behind, until he feels more confident. Harley is currently thriving in his foster home and does best with structure and boundaries. He has met cats and would do best in a cat-free home as he is a bit too interested in his feline friends. Harley has met children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who will respect his personal space and not make sudden, loud noises or movements. Harley is fully house and crate trained. Harley enjoys having his crate door open so he can come and go as he pleases. He rotates through his crate and his favorite dog beds when his foster is at work. Harley enjoys going for short walks around the neighborhood and walks well on leash. Harley is looking for a quiet family who will provide him with structure, love, and support so he can live a life of leisure!Note: Harley is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program for prescription medication. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.June 23, 2026, 11:50 am
