Story
I’m Henry, a 5-year-old, 60-pound Labradoodle. I’m a well-adjusted, much-loved boy. I’m in need of a new home because my doting owner has to move to a retirement facility that does not allow pets. I’m at a great age because I’ve outgrown the puppy crazies. I enjoy walks and being in nature (I love the forest and the beach equally!), and I also appreciate peaceful moments being close to my humans. I walk well on a leash, and I have been to training classes, so I know basic commands. I’m an excellent traveller and love going on adventures. I absolutely love being around other dogs, too. I’m housetrained, healthy, vaccinated, and well cared for. Mostly I just want to love and be loved! Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.

Story
Meet Stewart! He’s a 12-week-old Husky-Doodle mix with a super social, sweet personality. Stewart loves everyone he meets and is happiest when he’s right by your side, whether he’s playing with a toy or curling up for cuddles. Stewart is a smart little guy who is already doing great with both crate and house training. He has a calm, easygoing temperament and is especially low-energy for a puppy. He’s gentle, not jumpy, and has the sweetest, cuddliest personality. He gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a fantastic fit for almost any family. Stewart is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready to find his forever home!

MEET PARTI!!!My friends describe me as: communicative, affectionate, quirky Parti is truly the life of the party! She is equal parts energetic and snuggly, and she is the best at entertaining those around her. She would love a home with people who can keep up with her energy all day, with plenty of breaks to sit on your lap. Despite her extroverted personality, Parti can be quiet fearful of new people, especially when entering her space. Parti would do best in a home with dog-savvy individuals who are open to using positive reinforcement training to allow her to show her best manners and increase her confidence. Please note that Parti would prefer more than one meet with her new family before going home!Parti is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays. For information about our adoption process click here

Story
Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesHarley Memphis is a sweet, loyal, sensitive soul who is looking for a patient and loving family to live out his golden years. He recently underwent two major surgeries and is looking for a home that will continue to meet his unique medical needs. Although he has some physical limitations, he does not let this bring him down and is enjoying his life to the fullest!A few of Harley’s favorite things include snuggling with his humans, going for short walks, zoomies in small spaces, and spray cheese! Due to his mobility issues, Harley would do best in a home with minimal stairs and that has carpeting as he sometimes slips on hardwood floors. He would love a home with lots of soft dog beds, as he is unable to jump onto furniture. He does well with new dogs after proper introductions, but should have monitored interactions with other dogs, especially when approached from behind, until he feels more confident. Harley is currently thriving in his foster home and does best with structure and boundaries. He has met cats and would do best in a cat-free home as he is a bit too interested in his feline friends. Harley has met children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who will respect his personal space and not make sudden, loud noises or movements. Harley is fully house and crate trained. Harley enjoys having his crate door open so he can come and go as he pleases. He rotates through his crate and his favorite dog beds when his foster is at work. Harley enjoys going for short walks around the neighborhood and walks well on leash. Harley is looking for a quiet family who will provide him with structure, love, and support so he can live a life of leisure!*Harley is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program.*Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.July 14, 2026, 11:33 am
