Due to his mobility issues, Harley would do best in a home with minimal stairs and that has carpeting as he sometimes slips on hardwood floors. He would love a home with lots of soft dog beds, as he is unable to jump onto furniture. He does well with new dogs after proper introductions, but should have monitored interactions with other dogs, especially when approached from behind, until he feels more confident. Harley is currently thriving in his foster home and does best with structure and boundaries. He has met cats and would do best in a cat-free home as he is a bit too interested in his feline friends. Harley has met children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who will respect his personal space and not make sudden, loud noises or movements. Harley is fully house and crate trained. Harley enjoys having his crate door open so he can come and go as he pleases. He rotates through his crate and his favorite dog beds when his foster is at work.
