Celeste is an adorable mixed breed, very energetic, 4 year old puppy. She needs a family that will give her the attention she deserves, right now she is being cared for by a young teen who does not have the time and energy to give to her with schooling increasing. She loves to run, throw sticks, and go on long walks or hikes. She is quick at learning commands and works very well with direct, stern commands. She loves to play fetch with almost anything. She is potty trained and a very happy playful girl. This decision was not made lightly and had many tears, but she really deserves a home and family that will meet these needs.

Meet Hershey, a 2 year old poodle weighing just 9.2 pounds! This little guy has already made a special friend at the shelter, a senior Havanese who enjoys spending time with him. Hershey can be skittish around quick movements and loud noises, so a quiet home without small children would help him feel safest. He’ll need a patient family who gives him time to settle in, build trust, and feel comfortable at his own pace. We’re still learning about his potty habits, but we have noticed some marking behaviors when he enters a new place. His adopters should be prepared to offer supervision, a consistent potty routine, and positive reinforcement as he adjusts. We don’t yet know how he does with cats. His ideal family will have realistic expectations about caring for a young poodle, including time for play, companionship, and training. Previous experience with poodles is a plus! His curls will need regular brushing and professional grooming to keep him comfortable and free of mats. Adopters should be prepared for ongoing grooming expenses, routine veterinary care, and the financial commitment of caring for him throughout his life. Hershey is looking for a gentle, understanding family who will help him feel secure and give him room to let his personality shine. His adoption fee is $500 plus tax.
