Walter's Story Senior Spotlight! Let us introduce you to Walter! Walter was found at Byrne Dairy in Rochester after being dumped there. He had no identification and he was not claimed after being picked up by Animal Control. One of our volunteers was made aware of Walter and asked if we could help! Walter is now being fostered at our volunteer Haley’s home and she describes him as “the whole package”! We estimate his age at 7-8 years old. He’s a perfect older gentleman! Potty trained, crate trained(mostly), does well with other dogs! (We don’t have a cat to test him with) He is a wonderful snuggle bug! He does great riding in the car and he’s got that typical “bull in a china shop” exuberance that labs and lab mixes are famous for! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. All dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked. 🔘 Miss Harley 🔘 Miss Harley is another stray that was never claimed. She is about 2 years old and right knows sit and sits pretty and she loves hugs and peanut butter! Harley will need a patient owner and a possible calm home where she can continue to bloom and learn to trust.
