Ross is a 4.5 year old mixed breed who is a very playful, inquisitive, and loving dog. He loves meeting new people, and loves to zoom around the yard. He also enjoys a quiet day at home where he can be found relaxing, snoozing, laying down outside in the sun, or being a fantastic couch buddy! Ross is excitable on his leash when he sees other dogs, so he does take some anti-anxiety medications to help him with this. With this being said, he takes the job guarding the house very seriously, so outside squirrels and strangers: beware! Ross is housebroken and so good about that. He is not destructive at all, and does not require a crate. He is so smart and knows commands like sit, stay, and shake. Treats are his favorite, but he does love food in general! Ross is in excellent health, and is a truly lovely boy and would make a great dog for a family with older children, or someone looking for a companion. Ideally- he would require a fenced in yard so he can run freely outside and work on his "herding" instincts! 🩵🐾Tug🐾🩵 Welcome Tug to Belles Buds Rescue. This perfect boy was found as a stray and it’s blowing our minds! Tug is about 1 year old, crate trained, potty trained, gentle, sweet and a little bit sad that he lost his family. He is looking for a family that will keep him forever so he never feels like this again 💔. Tug is about 50lbs and likely will stay around that size. He is a little timid at first but once he warms up, he is such a lover!! Tug is great with other dogs - he would do well with doggy siblings but also would be okay as an only dog. Story
Luke is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Luke is a possible Lab Mix and is around 8 1/2 months old (April 8th) and 45-50 pounds -He, 3 other puppies, and a Mama dog were dumped on a bridge outside of Tishomingo. -Like every other puppy, energetic, funny, friendly, and loves belly rubs! -Loves to be around other dogs, especially his sister, Lola. He does love to rough house. -Tested with cats, seemed more scared of them than anything. -Leash and crate trained -He is not housebroken, but we are sure he can learn quickly. -We think he would do well with kids!
