Story
Hi All! Bear is my 5 year old labradoodle. He is a Covid baby that was adopted when my son and daughter still lived at home and I was working from home. It is just me and Bear now and yes, hindsight is 20/20. I am back working in office and poor Bear is alone all day. He loves people (especially me) and hates to be by himself. He barks, pants, and paces incessantly when I leave. He eats his way out of crates and if he cant make his way out he won’t give up. He has ground his bottom teeth down to nubs so a kennel is a big phobia for him. I’ve resorted to medications but that isn’t always helpful. He has started shredding couch cushions in the last few weeks. When I am with him he is a super good boy. Well trained to basic commands. He loves to play ball and go for walks. He enjoys doggy daycare a couple days per week but he really needs someone who can invest the time in desensitization training for separation anxiety. Everyone loves him and he deserves a better life!

Curly is a funny boy, and will be your shadow. He loves toys, and catching balls. He is smart, knows “sit”, and “lay down”. Curly is very loving, and affectionate. He walks great on a leash, is crate trained, and house broken when on a schedule. He does great with other dogs of all sizes, but not cats. He will be groomed on February 20th, and he will need to be groomed regularly. We are in the process of up dating all his medical, and getting him neutered on March 3rd If you are interested in adopting him, go to our website www.furryfriendsofthefoothills.org and fill out an adoption application.

This is Jupiter. He’s a energetic and sensitive boy. He’s extremely sweet and cuddly and all he wants to do is please. He’s shockingly fast and loves to run and always loves to have company. I have never met a dog as loving and expressive as him. He comes with his brother, Moon, as a package deal.

Story
We adopted 8 month old, female, lab mix from Burke County Animal Shelter on 3/2. We were unable to take our 2 year old lab mix to meet and greet due to severe car sickness. My dog is not adjusting to her. I am unable to return her to the shelter, even though the adoption just occurred, due to living outside of Burke County. She comes with a big crate and brand new harness and leash.
