Story
We are looking for a loving new home for our 5 year-old Labradoodle due to our increasingly busy work schedule. This decision was not made lightly. He is wonderful with kids—very gentle, patient, and playful. He loves being around people and enjoys attention, cuddles, and family time. He is house-trained, well-mannered, and used to being part of a family. He enjoys walks, playtime, and relaxing at home. He would do best in a home where someone has more time to give him the love and attention he deserves. We are hoping to find a responsible, caring family who will treat him as a forever pet.

These pups are in Statesville, North Carolina too!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Chipper and Skipper came to us as strays after a Good Samaritan spotted them alongside a VERY busy highway. Fearing for their safety, he scooped them up, kept them safe for the night, and brought them to us the very next morning when we opened. Neither dog had an ID tag and neither was microchipped prior to arriving to us, making it impossible to know if they had an owner. No one ever came forward to claim them, and now these two sweet boys are officially in adoption—ready for a brand-new leash on life. While we don’t know much about their past, we do know a lot about who they are now:?? Chipper | A312630• 1 year old• Tan mix• Neutered male• 30.50 lbs (such a little cutie! ??)Chipper is easy to leash and walk, VERY friendly, and super playful. He got along wonderfully with his travel buddy Skipper and also did great meeting a new dog friend here at the shelter. Total sweetheart!?? Skipper | A312629• 6 years old• Black Lab• Neutered male• 83 lbs (a very sweet and adorable chonk ??)Skipper is also easy to leash and walk, extremely gentle, and beyond sweet. He got along great with Chipper and another dog he met here—trying to bounce and play with her like a big happy puppy! We highly recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure the best fit for everyone.?? Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet:• 3 days to decompress and adjust to new surroundings• 3 weeks to start learning routines and building trust• 3 months to feel fully comfortable and at home?? Adoption fee: 8??0?? eachBoth dogs are neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives as administered while at ICAS.?? Come meet Chipper and Skipper at430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC#AdoptFromICAS #MyICASRescue ??
