Born on 6/27/15, this sweet guy arrived at TRI on March 14th after a breeding mill closed. After some much-needed TLC, he is finally polished, perky, and ready for adoption! If you’ve been craving a low-key companion, Stone is the perfect treat: ☕ Rich & Mellow: As a distinguished senior, Stone is all about the "slow-sip" lifestyle. He’s low-key, gentle, and the ultimate partner for cozy naps and quiet strolls. ✨ Premium Wrapper: His chocolate coat is 100% improved—now soft, shiny, and beautiful! Even better? He is a total "sweetheart" for his grooming appointments. 💪 Freshly Restored: Stone is fully vetted, neutered, and has had a full dental. While he has some typical senior arthritis and takes daily thyroid maintenance meds, he’s feeling fantastic and has a real "perk" in his step now! Story
Ruby is a 7 year old chocolate lab. She was an excellent dog before having kids. She is great with the kids and loves them. However we aren't home a lot anymore and can't take her any where. With that being said since having kids Ruby has starting tearing things up, getting on tables and peeing in the house. We believe its because she needs to be in a home with a less busy schedule and some dogs and a couple or one person who can spend a lot of 1on time with her

Story
I originally adopted Ace from the Cleveland APL due to leaving the job I had there and not wanting him to end up getting deemed unadoptable due to the kennel life not being what he needs. He is 3 years old, would do best with female dogs as he does have some dominance issues with other males, he does have some barrier reactivity with new people but gets better over time. Is good in his crate as long as he has something to chew on and entertain himself, he needs a slow feeder as he eats very fast. I am going to get him retested for heart worm march 30th as he tested positive when I first adopted him and he finished all his treatments. He needs a yard with a high fence as he is an escape artist and can jump decently high. He also needs someone with patience willing to work with him and continue training.
