Sophie was adopted from a breeder as a puppy. She is 4 years old. Sophie is a playful, energetic but also can be cuddly. She is not the least bit aggressive and doesn't bark very much. She loves going for walks or running around the yard and going for car rides. She is good around other dogs, cats, and kids. She should go to a home that can give her the time and attention she deserves. She would do well in a house with kids to play with or someone with an active life style as she has energy to burn.

Story
We adopted Molly at one month from a breeder 5 1/2 years ago. My wife and I are moving to an apartment on 2/10 and cannot take her. She needs a family that can give here more attention and activity than we can provide. She loves walks and could use a fenced yard to run around for exercise. She is not trained to go outside and uses training pads. Another issue, since she does not get enough stimulation, is toward the end of the day she wants to 'rearrange' furniture by pushing with her nose. We did not have young children when we got her. She gets excited to be around kids although it looks like she is overly excited until she settles in. We call her the 'mayor' since she likes to perch herself on top of the couch and look out the window watching everything She barks at the mail person and delivery trucks, all while wagging her tail.

Introducing our new boy, Rex! Rex is a 2 year old doodle mix. He's a big boy weighing about 80 pounds. Rex transferred into TRI after being saved from a backyard breeding situation. That's in the past now and Rex is ready for a new start and a new family! Rex is looking for a strong owner who is interested in an active, smart companion. He would do best as the only dog in his new home. Rosie is high energy and playful. Does need a dominant personality, like most dogs. Once that’s done, she’s smart and eager to please. 11 weeks old and already understand sit, just learned down, and working on potty training She needs a home, I work a lot of my day, my wife and step daughter wanted a puppy cause they stay home all day. We are now going through a divorce and my wife has given me the dog to rehome as she doesn’t want it (not due to dog itself but as an attack on me..) Rosie is such a good girl, I just want to find her a good home. Being in a crate 11 hours of the day, isn’t good for her… 0 fee, crate free, toys and food free, treats free… etc.

I have a Farm Animal Sanctuary, opened in memory, honor, and legacy of my wife, who is it was her lifelong dream to have a Farm to take in rescued animals from abuse, cruelty, abandonment, etc, and give them a safe, loving,and caring home for the rest of their lives. Sadly, she was diagnosed with late stage cancer about 6-weeks before seeing her dream come true with getting her first animals onsite at the Farm we bought and moved back to Ohio for. Her focus was to specialize on small to mid-size farm animals, believing that there's already lots of rescues/sanctuaries for horses, dogs, cats, etc. That said, I took in Sammi when I got a phone call from a family looking for a home/sanctuary for him, who lived with their 80+ year old war veteran Father on a 10-acre Farm due to failing health issues, so they needed to move their Father off the Farm and into assited living. When they found my website, they thought it might be an easier adjustment for Sammi to move to another Farm.
