Story
Meet Gabby! She is a 2.5-year-old Labradoodle weighing 43 lbs. Gabby came to us with significant hair loss from a breeding kennel (as shown in the last picture). At the time, we were unsure of the cause, but we now believe it was a hormonal imbalance, as the hair started growing back after she was spayed. She has now been groomed down to make all of the hair that she has the same length. There is a chance that the rest of the hair may never grow back, but there is also a chance that it will. Gabby is very shy at first, but is a gentle and kind soul when she warms up to you. She keeps her kennel clean, but will need some time to adjust to your new schedule. She is good with other dogs; cats are unknown, but shouldn't be an issue. She would do best with older kids, but younger kids will be okay as long as they are calm and understand to give her space if she needs it. Evo, is a four-year-old Labradoodle with an energetic temperament. We need to rehome him because he is starting to have trouble with our older dog. He is very loving and cuddly toward his people. Also very smart and a good listener, loves to play and snuggle. He just has some resource guarding issues and it is starting to become a problem with our older dog.

Meet Cliff, a gentle soul with a big heart. Cliff has a lot of love to give - he just needs a little time to feel comfortable and show it, and then he bonds closely with his person. Cliff was found in an abandoned house, so it is understandable that he can be reserved at first sometimes. He also tested positive for heartworm when he arrived at the kennel. But he is a trooper, and he has received is treatment thanks to Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland and now is the rest and recovery phase. He`s ready for a bright next chapter!Cliff got to enjoy an extended break in a temporary foster home and showed that he is a sweet, mild-mannered good boy. He loves to spend time cuddling with his person on the couch, and he follows you around like an adorable shadow. His other favorite activity is going outside, laying in the grass and feeling the sun and wind on his face. Once he is through his post-heartworm rest period, we suspect Cliff will get more playful. He seemed to want to run and play with another dog in the home. In the house, Cliff was quiet and easy-going. He did very well picking up on the housetraining schedule, and he was good in his crate. He willingly follows food in, and then sleeps through the night. He has also been a quiet, calm car passenger. On walks, he likes to mosey and sniff and is overall easy to manage on leash. Cliff is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 52 lbs. In a home of his own, we expect his personality to shine more and more - it`s truly a treat to become one of his people.
