He came to us on March 14th after his previous breeder ceased operations, and he has spent the last few weeks settling into the "retired life" with grace. At a portable 17.6 lbs, Buster is the perfect size for lap snuggles and easy strolls. He is now fully vetted, including a much-needed dental, so he’s feeling fresh and ready for his forever home! What to expect when adopting a senior Mini Labradoodle like Buster: The "Chill" Factor: While younger doodles can be high-energy, seniors like Buster usually prefer a cozy bed and a calm environment. He’s past the puppy chewing phase and appreciates the finer things in life—like naps. Low-Shedding Grooming: He still has that beautiful curly coat, which means he’ll need regular brushing and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks to keep him looking sharp. Health & Wellness: Senior small breeds often live well into their teens. Keeping up with his dental health and maintaining a healthy weight will be key to keeping him spry. Evo, is a four-year-old Labradoodle with an energetic temperament. We need to rehome him because he is starting to have trouble with our older dog. He is very loving and cuddly toward his people. Also very smart and a good listener, loves to play and snuggle. He just has some resource guarding issues and it is starting to become a problem with our older dog.

But just spend a couple minutes with Porter and you`ll see he has an equally lovely personality - engaging, endearingly goofy, derpy yet attentive. He`s a bright, social young dog ready to shine as your sidekick!Porter certainly has a high entertainment value - he`s a hoot! He is a total delight when he gets going with a favorite toy, prancing and darting and tossing it around for himself. Sometimes he likes to carry a favorite toy with him on a walk. He also likes stretching his legs on walks or going for a jog with our run group!Porter is a ready to be a pal to humans and dogs alike. With people, he is affectionate and personable, ready to make friends with a big wagging tail. With dogs he has been playful, with dogs his size as well as smaller ones. He offers big goofy play bows to show he`s game for some fun.At around 2 years old, Porter is a lot like a smart teenager. He still has some youthful exuberance but he balances it with brains and an eagerness to please. In a home of his own, we think he`ll grow into an awesome dog. Meet Cliff, a gentle soul with a big heart. Cliff has a lot of love to give - he just needs a little time to feel comfortable and show it. Cliff can be quite timid at first and can come across as reserved. He is a sensitive pup and the noise and chaos of the kennel can be a lot for him - he feels much more at ease in peace and quiet. With a little patience and time to build trust, he shows his sweet and loving side by checking in and leaning against you for pets and cuddles. In a home of his own, we expect his personality to shine more and more.Cliff has been mild-mannered and easy to handle so far. He tends to move at an ambling pace on leash, taking his time to sniff. He knows how to sit and is gentle taking his treats. He also consistently keeps his kennel tidy, so we believe he is housebroken. So far he has been pretty low-key, but he gets bursts of playfulness and little zoomies as he grows more confident. With other dogs in play group he has been social with a gentle/dainty style. Cliff tested positive for heartworm when he arrived at the kennel - but fortunately this is treatable, and his treatment is fully covered by Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland. He will just need to find a place where he can get through his rest and recovery following treatment, before he can start easing back into normal dog activities. We think he`ll be grateful to be a couch potato in a quiet home.Cliff is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 52 lbs.Visit www.tinyurl.com/meetacitydog to find out more and set up a meet!
