This 12 lb male Merle Mini Poodle was born on 4/7/2020 and is ready to trade his past life as a breeding dog for a world full of "Alvin-sized" adventures and cozy naps. Theodore is still finding his voice, but he has a heart of gold. He’s currently a student at "The Rescue Inn Academy," slowly learning that life as a cherished pet means treats, soft beds, and endless chin scratches. Theodore’s Stats: 🎤 Style: A stunning Merle coat that’s definitely stage-ready. Theodore cleans up nicely - here are his "before" and "after" shots! 🎤 Personality: Shy but incredibly sweet. 🎤 Training: He’s currently working on his potty training! He is all white, sweet and playful with the other dogs. Came into the rescue from southern Ohio. Doesn't appear he had much interaction with people as early on he appears standoffish. Has no problem being picked up and held. He looks to be coming out of his shell and will be a great dog.

My mom kinda over loved me with people food, and as long as she gave it to me, I ate it. My mom can no longer care for me, so I am looking for a new home.  I am a girl of 9 years old and right now I am weighing in at 26lbs. Need to get that down to 20-23lbs. I am looking for a laid back home where someone is not gone for long hours and can get me outside potty every few hours and maybe take me on a daily walk. No stairs in the home please and prefer no children. I am a girl that will need to go to the grooming salon on a regular basis to keep my puppyish looks because everyone says I am a cutie pie. I will follow you around the house just to be near you. I would love to sit with you on the couch or on your lap. Story
Milo is a male Havapoo (Havanese Poodle mix).He weighs 11 lbs and will be 2 yrs old in September. It’s our understanding that after Milo’s owner passed away, a family member kept him chained in the basement where he was alone, sitting in his own feces and urine. He was extremely matted with eye, ear and skin infections. An angel who learned of his situation stepped in and offered to take Milo, saving him from this life of extreme neglect and abuse. Unfortunately Milo was attacked by their neighbor’s dogs. After that they felt they weren’t able to provide for his needs. That’s when they reached out and asked us to take him into the rescue. We are happy to say Milo is on the road to good health and is loving life! He is looking forward to finding his forever home where he can live his best life. Milo is up to date on vaccines and HW/flea/tick prevention. All of his bloodwork came back normal. He has healed from the infections and the injury to his neck from the dog attack. Milo is scheduled for his neuter, dental cleaning and microchip on Thursday (5/14). Milo is an absolute sweetheart! It’s remarkable, after all he’s been through, that he has built trust so quickly and is feeling safe in his foster home. * He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. * He loves to cuddle up close and get belly rubs! * He is not fully house-trained but has been doing good with his training. * He loves to play with toys and other dogs. * He has a lot of energy so he will need regular exercise and a securely fenced yard (required, no electric fences) where he can safely run and play. * Milo has been okay around cats and children.
