Duke is crate trained, potty trained and walks well on a leash. Duke would love a family to go on fun adventures with! Interested in becoming a forever home for Duke Elliot? Story
Gracie Mae is a 6-year-old, 25 lb. sweetheart who has already lived quite a life and is ready for her happy ever after with a family. Before coming to us, she was kept outdoors in poor conditions and suffered severe neglect. She arrived underweight, covered in fleas, and clearly had been through a lot. But with time, love, and care, Gracie has blossomed into a resilient, affectionate dog who is ready to find a family of her own. Gracie has a deformed front leg from an old injury, but it doesn’t slow her down—she runs and plays just like any other dog. She is spayed, kennel trained, potty trained, and rides well in the car. A few things to know about Gracie: Personality: Sweet, affectionate, and eager for attention. She bonds deeply with her people and thrives on love. With Dogs: Gets along with other dogs, though she can be protective over toys. Playtime with toys is best kept separate from other dogs. With Cats: Not recommended for homes with cats. With Kids/People: Does well with children. She tends to prefer women but will warm up to calm, patient men. Loud voices or yelling can scare her. Training: Potty trained and kennel trained. Eats from an elevated feeder and uses a slow-feed bowl. Likely not leash trained yet. Play & Energy: Loves toys, especially squeakers, and enjoys carrying them around before playfully destroying them. She has a moderate energy level—she enjoys running and playing but also settles down nicely for cuddles and attention. Gracie’s past was not kind to her, but she hasn’t let it define her. She is loving, resilient, and ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family who will give her the patience, kindness, and stability she deserves. To meet her submit an application here - www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application or send inquiries to our adoptions team at muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com Gracie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.

Story
Meet Ruby! Ruby is a 3-year-old, 60 lb Lab/Cattle Dog mix who’s as sweet as she is striking. As a puppy, Ruby battled a condition called strangles, which left some scarring on her face—but we think it only adds character to her beautiful smile! It doesn’t cause her any pain, and she’s just as healthy and happy as any other pup. Ruby is house and kennel trained, and she actually enjoys the comfort of her kennel when her people are away. She loves going on walks and is doing great learning her leash manners. She’s unbothered by other dogs when out and about, preferring to focus on exploring all the new smells! When she’s home, Ruby loves toys of every kind—chew bones, Kongs filled with treats, stuffed toys—you name it, she’ll play with it. She also loves to be close to her people, whether that means curling up next to you on the couch or laying quietly nearby. Ruby is still learning about the world and gaining confidence. She can get anxious or overstimulated in new situations, and sometimes expresses that excitement by jumping up near her person—she’s working on learning better ways to channel that energy. Ruby has done well with one calm, playful dog friend and would likely thrive in a home with a confident medium-to-large dog who enjoys playtime but isn’t pushy. She’s not the best fit for homes with small pets or young children. A professional trainer who evaluated Ruby described her as “a happy-go-lucky, people-friendly dog with a big personality and a playful nature.” She bonds easily with humans, settles nicely in her kennel, and shows great potential once her anxiety is managed. With the right environment and consistent training, Ruby has the potential to thrive and needs a person or family who is willing to commit to 3–6 months of structured work to help her reduce reactivity, manage anxiety, and learn boundaries. Ruby would do best in: -A calm, adult-only home -With an experienced adopter who’s familiar with anxious or reactive dogs -A structured environment where she can continue her training and build confidence -Possibly with one balanced, friendly dog or calm, dog-savvy cat (with careful introductions) Ruby is affectionate, smart, and full of love to give—she just needs a patient, understanding person or family who will give her the chance she needs and help her continue to blossom. With consistency and care, Ruby will reward you with loyalty, laughter, and endless love. If you think your home would be a good fit for Ruby, apply to meet / adopt her at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application or email muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com with any inquiries. Ruby is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $75. She does not have any special needs or take any medications.

Hello, I’m Ivy! My foster mom and I are decompressing together. See I’ve been in a shelter and boarding for the last 4 months, so a new place has been a bit scary. We have been lying in bed cuddling. I like when my foster mom talks to me and tilt my head often to show I’m listening. I am 100% potty trained! I prefer big stuffed toys with squeakers, not sure what to do with any balls. I am very sweet when it’s just me with my foster mom and dad, but in public with other people, I’m still very scared, I wouldn’t hurt a fly, I just sit and shake. My foster mom takes me to work with her everyday and forces everyone to come give me treats, kisses, and hugs. Hopefully this will help with my fear of others. I love to cuddle in bed with my foster parents at night, and I make sure to leave them plenty of room. I know I’m going to be a good dog to my own family one day, someone just has to give me the chance to show them. ##1887319##

Meet Georgie Jumbo! Georgie is a 1-year-old Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix with a big heart, a goofy smile, and a whole lot of charm! This smart and playful pup is the total package — affectionate, curious, and always up for fun. Currently weighing about 45 lbs, Georgie is expected to grow to around 50–60 lbs. He’s full of puppy energy and joy, and he absolutely loves playing with other dogs. While he hasn’t met cats or kids just yet, his intelligence and eager-to-please personality suggest he could warm up to them with proper introductions and training. Georgie is crate-trained, doing great with house training, and learning more every day. Like any young pup, he’s still polishing his manners — but he's off to a fantastic start! Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
We'll also keep you updated on Jordy's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Jordy is a 2.5-year-old, 60-pound German Shorthaired Pointer/Pittie mix looking for his forever family. This handsome boy is house trained, kennel trained, and has also done well being left unkenneled in the house while his people are away. (We always recommend starting with a kennel in a new environment until everyone gets into a routine.) Jordy gets along well with dogs of all sizes, but he would truly thrive with another playful dog in the home. He would likely do well with older children who can help him burn off some of his energy, but because of his size he may not be the best fit for a home with very young kids. Jordy hasn’t lived with cats, and based on how he reacts to them in the neighborhood, a cat-free home would be best. A happy, friendly guy, Jordy loves to snuggle up for naps when playtime is over. He’s very food-motivated (ice cubes are a favorite treat!) and is currently working on his leash manners. This handsome boy would make a great walking buddy. Because he’s a fast eater, he does best with a slow feeder—and his little squeak while eating is adorable. A fenced yard (preferably 6 ft privacy fence) would be ideal. Jordy is a sweet, active doggo who is ready for a family that can give him the fun and love he deserves. With the right home, he’ll be an incredible companion and a joyful addition to the family. If you think your home would be a good fit for him, apply to meet / adopt Jordy at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application or email muttmisfitsadoptions@gmail.com with any inquiries. Jordy, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $75. He does not have any special needs or take any medications.

Story
Topaz aka DobyMeet our goofball with amazing ears! This active guy is very shy and nervous when meeting new people and in new situations. He needs a patient family but once you gain his trust he will be your best side kick. He weighes in at 55lbs of pure muscle and love. Topaz enjoys playing but after he wears himself out he insists on being cuddled. His talents include paw dexterity, fetching tennis balls, sprinting, chewing up dog bones and hiding them, and has the most amazing bounce you have ever seen. If you ever have mice that try to break in he will defend you with his life, he is great at tracking them down. He does great in the crate when sleeping and is potty trained. Topaz absolutely loves kids and other dogs but loves cats a little too much! We believe he is a german shorthair pointer/pointer cattle dog mix born near the second week of July 2023. His fun personality is sure to bring you a lifetime of laughter!  ##1819863##
