My heart is breaking as i am writing and I'm not even sure how to begin. I am going on 2 years of being divorced. I am now a single mom of 2 kids. I was a stay at home mom before and my financial situation looked much different. I now have multiple jobs that require me to be gone for long periods of times and when I don't have my kids, I have to travel for work. My dogs used to get daily walks, rides in the car and fun to baseball games and school drop offs. They've been raised with kids of all ages and dogs of all shapes and sizes.. but now they sit inside all day long and are not getting the love and attention and exercise I know they need. They're each 100 pounds and the dog food and vet costs and grooming on top of the lack of time is too much. If anyone would be interested in keeping them together, it would be an answered prayer. but I understand that's a lot of commitment for anyone. They are used to space and are beep trained (no shock) collars. They walk with harnesses on.

His journey started when he was found laying on the side of the road for three days, and thanks to a kind woman who kept him safe until Greenmore could take him in, Gus got his second chance—and he’s making the most of it. According to his finder, “he loves to snuggle on the couch, is great in the car, and is very lovable,” and that perfectly sums him up. Gus is affectionate, social, and always ready to be part of whatever you’re doing. He has medium to high energy, absolutely loves walks, and will thrive in an active home. Because of his size and strong nature, older kids are preferred, and he’s still working on his manners, so continued training will help him shine. A fenced yard is required so he has space to safely burn off energy. Gus keeps his crate clean and is eager to learn, bond, and be someone’s loyal best friend. If you like the scruffy, fun, active, outdoorsy type, this girl is for you! She absolutely loves to play in the pond, in her case the water basin in the play yard, she enjoys running around the play yard checking things out and playing with her friends. At 1 ½ years of age Roxanne is still a youngster, so she would probably enjoy most any fun activity that she was included in. She is also a friendly and good natured girl that loves people (adults and older kids) and gets along with other dogs. She does not do well with cats. Roxanne is a good size too, weighing 38 pounds…not too big, not too small. All this girl needs is a fun and active family to call her own! She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Roxanne is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee includes transportation.

Meet Miz Bizkit: Miz Bizkit is about a 2 year old (as of June 2024) lab mix that weighs 57 pounds. Miz Bizkit was a neighborhood stray in the city who found a random house to have a litter of puppies under. Miz Bizkit and her pups were wondering around looking for food when animal control was called to get them to safety back in 2023. The puppies (food litter) were all adopted out and Miz Bizkit stayed with a souther foster for heart worm treatment and socialization. Miz Bizkit has completed her treatment and is now ready for her forever home. She is looking to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania nto meet more prospective families. Miz Bizkit is a sweetheart and loves every adult she meets! She’s mostly independent and not much of a cuddler, but she loves back scratches! Miz Bizkit prefers a calmer environment. Miz Bizkit absolutely loves to play ball - she will play keep away though so having 2 balls to switch out makes for a more fun way to play. Miz Bizkit is very food and treat motivated; she knows sit, shake, and listens well. Miz Bizkit has worked with a trainer for a few weeks and they have assessed that she does well and is happiest when she is familiar with the people and dogs she is around. She can do well with savvy older kids or teens. With other dogs she does well with slow, thoughtful introductions and in a calm setting; she is an alpha dog and will show her dominance. She would do best as an only dog. She is sweet with adults and not overly reactive with strangers. Miz Bizkit is a great girl for the right fit. Miz Bizkit is housetrained - she hasn’t had any accidents in the house while on a routine break schedule. Miz Bizkit is leash trained and crate trained and she rides well in a vehicle! Miz Bizkit will need a physically fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Miz Bizkit is up to date on her shots and spayed. Meet Lillyann: Lillyann is about a 22 month old (as of February 2025) lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 60 pounds. The L litter of 4 (Lillyann, Leo, Lacy and London) were being given away out of the back of an SUV in a parking lot in Mississippi’s 100° heat. Lillyann is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Lillyann is a sweet girl that is energetic and full of love! Lillyann loves her toys, treats and playing outside. Lillyann does great with all of the other dogs that she has been with. She has met cats and wasn't very interested in them. Lillyann has been good around the kids she has met (around 10 years), but she likes to jump around, so we would recommend no small children at this time. Lillyann is crate trained and house trained. She currently uses a doggy door and may need some patience adjusting to a new system, but she lets herself out without accidents now! We would love for Lillyann to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely!
