Story
If you like the scruffy, fun, active, outdoorsy type, this girl is for you! She absolutely loves to play in the pond, in her case the water basin in the play yard, she enjoys running around the play yard checking things out and playing with her friends. At 1 ½ years of age Roxanne is still a youngster, so she would probably enjoy most any fun activity that she was included in. She is also a friendly and good natured girl that loves people (adults and older kids) and gets along with other dogs. She does not do well with cats. Roxanne is a good size too, weighing 38 pounds…not too big, not too small. All this girl needs is a fun and active family to call her own! She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Roxanne is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee includes transportation.

Story
Hello, meet Bronze. Bronze is a 3-year-old Labradoodle. I am currently looking for a loving new home for him due to an upcoming move and not having enough time to give him the attention he deserves. Bronze has a playful, energetic personality and would benefit from a little continued training. He does very well with children and is very affectionate. He may need up to two weeks to adjust to a new environment, so patience is important during that transition. While he should not be crated immediately upon rehoming, he is fully crate-trained once settled. He can be put in the crate but in a new environment he can have a little anxiety!

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Bindi — 65 Pounds of Doodle Energy, Smarts, and Fabulous Hair ✨🐾 Female • 18 Months Old • 65 lbs • Doodle Extraordinaire If you’re familiar with doodles, you already know they come with a few standard features: ✔️ Big personality ✔️ Big heart ✔️ Big energy ✔️ And hair that occasionally requires its own maintenance schedule Bindi checks every one of those boxes — and then adds a little extra sparkle. At 18 months old and 65 pounds, Bindi is right in that fun young-adult stage where she’s learned the basics but still has plenty of playful, goofy doodle enthusiasm to keep life interesting. This girl absolutely loves her people. Like… really loves them. Think “personal fan club president” level devotion. She bonds closely with her humans and wants to be right there with you for all of life’s activities — whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or supervising snack preparation in the kitchen. Because Bindi loves her humans so much, she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her VIP people. And speaking of activity… Bindi is not applying for the job of Professional Couch Potato. She’s looking for a young, active family that enjoys staying busy and getting out into the world. Her dream schedule might include: • Daily walks or jogs • Weekend adventures • Puzzle toys that make her think • Backyard zoomie sessions • Supervising family activities like a curly-haired life coach Bindi is crate trained, house trained, and already has some great basic obedience skills under her belt. She’s a smart girl who truly enjoys learning, and with continued structure and activity, she’ll absolutely thrive. She’s wonderful with people of all sizes — from small humans to tall ones — though she can be a little protective of her favorite humans because she takes her “family security supervisor” role seriously. And of course, as a doodle, Bindi will need regular grooming to keep those fabulous curls looking their best. Think of it less as maintenance and more as spa day for your dog. Freshly brushed doodles are basically walking teddy bears. Bindi is the kind of dog who will fill your home with energy, laughter, and endless loyalty. With the right active family, she’ll be an incredible companion who’s always ready for the next adventure — and always ready to remind you that life is better with a doodle by your side. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Bindi bring the doodle energy, the curly cuddles, and the joyful chaos into your life. 🐶💛

Story
Meet Miz Bizkit: Miz Bizkit is about a 2 year old (as of June 2024) lab mix that weighs 57 pounds. Miz Bizkit was a neighborhood stray in the city who found a random house to have a litter of puppies under. Miz Bizkit and her pups were wondering around looking for food when animal control was called to get them to safety back in 2023. The puppies (food litter) were all adopted out and Miz Bizkit stayed with a souther foster for heart worm treatment and socialization. Miz Bizkit has completed her treatment and is now ready for her forever home. She is looking to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania nto meet more prospective families. Miz Bizkit is a sweetheart and loves every adult she meets! She’s mostly independent and not much of a cuddler, but she loves back scratches! Miz Bizkit prefers a calmer environment. Miz Bizkit absolutely loves to play ball - she will play keep away though so having 2 balls to switch out makes for a more fun way to play. Miz Bizkit is very food and treat motivated; she knows sit, shake, and listens well. Miz Bizkit has worked with a trainer for a few weeks and they have assessed that she does well and is happiest when she is familiar with the people and dogs she is around. She can do well with savvy older kids or teens. With other dogs she does well with slow, thoughtful introductions and in a calm setting; she is an alpha dog and will show her dominance. She would do best as an only dog. She is sweet with adults and not overly reactive with strangers. Miz Bizkit is a great girl for the right fit. Miz Bizkit is housetrained - she hasn’t had any accidents in the house while on a routine break schedule. Miz Bizkit is leash trained and crate trained and she rides well in a vehicle! Miz Bizkit will need a physically fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Miz Bizkit is up to date on her shots and spayed. If you are interested in adding Miz Bizkit into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Lillyann: Lillyann is about a 22 month old (as of February 2025) lab mix (best guess) that weighs about 60 pounds. The L litter of 4 (Lillyann, Leo, Lacy and London) were being given away out of the back of an SUV in a parking lot in Mississippi’s 100° heat. Lillyann is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Lillyann is a sweet girl that is energetic and full of love! Lillyann loves her toys, treats and playing outside. Lillyann does great with all of the other dogs that she has been with. She has met cats and wasn't very interested in them. Lillyann has been good around the kids she has met (around 10 years), but she likes to jump around, so we would recommend no small children at this time. Lillyann is crate trained and house trained. She currently uses a doggy door and may need some patience adjusting to a new system, but she lets herself out without accidents now! We would love for Lillyann to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely! Lillyann is up to date on her shots and spayed. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
Meet Loretta: Loretta is about a 22 month old (as of February 2025) lab mix that weighs about 29 pounds. Loretta was found with her sister, Patsy, near a dump site on a country road in the south. A nice man found them and brought them to us and we were able to get them into the rescue. Loretta is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Loretta is as sweet as can be! This cutie is a petite gal that is very loving and friendly. Loretta's charm shines when you meet her. Loretta loves to play with other dogs and is very submissive. Loretta is medium energy and will romp and run around but then settles to chill inside. We think Loretta's ideal home would have a companion dog to play with and a fenced in yard. Loretta loves children and is very gentle. She was a little wary of the cat she met, but didn't bother with it and was seemingly indifferent to the cat. Loretta loves water - she would happily accompany you on a trip to a lake or hike along a creek! Loretta is working on her house training and has done great with routine breaks outside. Loretta is up to date on her shots and spayed. If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
