Story
Meet Roo Roo, an affectionate and smart 5 month old Poodle/mix (we aren't sure what kind of "Doodle" she is). She currently weighs around 23 lbs. Roo Roo is a gentle girl, she is great with other dogs and doesn't know a stranger. She is a smart girl and picked up on sitting for treats very quickly. She will stay sitting waiting for more treats. When she gets excited she hops with all four legs at the same it, it is quite adorable. Roo Roo has met puppies smaller than her and dogs bigger than her and she has done well with everyone. If she gets nervous, she just lies down and waits to see what the other dogs will do. She has a great temperament, she would fit nicely into most families. Roo Roo came into our care with her fur completely matted from the lack of care. She is looking for a family that has experience with dogs that require regular grooming. Adoption fee is $550 which includes transport. _______________________________ Considering adoption? Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Meet Allie! Allie is a Labradoodle/Black Labrador Retriever mix under 3 years old with a big smile and an even bigger zest for life! This happy girl is full of energy and always ready for her next adventure. Whether it's playtime in the yard or heading out for a walk, Allie brings enthusiasm wherever she goes. Because she gets so excited (life is just that fun!), Allie is working on channeling that energy in more focused ways, like holding a toy while getting harnessed or heading out for walks. This helps redirect her excitement and sets her up for success. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to improve. Allie is both dog-friendly and kid-friendly! She would do best with children who understand that she's an energetic, playful pup and may get excited during playtime. Kids who are comfortable around an active dog and can respect her space when she needs it will make great companions for her. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. A fenced yard is a must for Allie so she can safely run, play, and burn off her energy. If you're looking for a fun-loving, active companion who will keep you moving and smiling, Allie might be your perfect match! Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. Another great reason to adopt form Greenmore.... Greenmore Rescue preforms the 4dx blood test on ALL of our adult dogs FREE OF CHARGE to adopters! Meet Mello – Delightfully One of a Kind Mello is the kind of dog who makes you do a double take—in the best possible way. With his short legs, slightly wiry coat, and unmistakable charm, he’s living proof that “interesting” and “absolutely adorable” go hand in hand. We’re told he’s a mini labradoodle… but honestly, Mello is just 100% Mello. At 9 years young, this guy still has plenty of pep in his step! He enjoys his walks, loves hanging out with his people, and is the kind of companion who truly values connection. Whether you’re heading out for a stroll or settling in for some couch time, Mello is all in—as long as he’s with you. Now, like any distinguished gentleman, Mello comes with a few quirks. He prefers that his prized possessions (think food or high-value treasures) are respected and not taken from him. With clear boundaries, respectful handling, and an experienced home, this is very manageable—and Mello will reward you with loyalty and love in return. Mello’s highlights:• 9 years young with just the right amount of pep• Affectionate and people-oriented• Enjoys walks and lounging alike• Delightfully unique in both looks and personality Mello is looking for a home that sees the beauty in being a little different—one that will appreciate his quirks, respect his boundaries, and love him for exactly who he is. He may not be your “typical” dog… but he just might be your perfect one Senior Soulmates Program: We believe senior dogs and senior adopters make some of the very best matches. Through our Senior Soulmates Program, adopters age 65+ who welcome a senior dog (8 years or older) into their family receive a reduced adoption fee of $275 Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2646105##

Story
Back in December 2024, Big Family Rescue got an urgent call about a litter of puppies four hours north of us. They were only six weeks old, and their condition was heartbreaking. Overrun with worms and coccidia, the pups were so sick they were barely hanging on. We dropped everything, made the late-night drive, and brought them home. At first, it wasn’t clear if they would survive. They were frail, lethargic, and malnourished. But with intensive care, medicine, and round-the-clock attention, the puppies slowly began to fight their way back. One of those survivors is Woody. Now nine months old, Woody has blossomed into a goofy, energetic, and affectionate boy. A unique Hound/Labradoodle mix, he’s healthy, strong, and full of life. Where once there was fear and fragility, now there’s joy and playfulness. Woody loves to run, explore, and clown around — his zest for life is contagious. Every wag of his tail is a reminder of just how far he’s come. From near-death at six weeks to a thriving young pup today, Woody embodies the heart of rescue: hope, healing, and second chances.
